Hi,
I need help from anyone of you who has knowledge of filing a case in consumer court, as this is a clear cheating from SuratDiamond.com

I had ordered a ring from SuratDiamond.com with 1ct diamonds. When I got the product in the certificate it mentioned 0.73ct I called & emailed them to inform about the weight difference. They replied saying back it was a manufacturing mistake, and offered me a refund of Rs. 3000. I said if I buy a product which is worth 37k and if you give me 27% less diamonds Rs. 3,000 isn’t acceptable. Then they replied again mentioning the terms & conditions on their website that jewellery weights are approximate, I replied a buffer of 1-2% is acceptable but not 27% and I am filing a case against them. Today one of their manager called me up and gave me the same lecture and offered me a 4k refund.

I would be grateful if anyone of you can guide me about filing a case in the consumer court.

Regards,
Niz

Even i bought only diamond from surat diamonds. My first order got cancelled. in second order, they delivered it on time. When i tested diamond at local shop, they said it’s having ‘black spot’ inside it which is not visible by normal eye, need 10x magnifier to see it by expert. I was shocked to know as it was GIA Certified diamond. But about pricing he said, i got it for too less, market price for same diamond is around 5-6k higher.
