DIMERS, PLEASE BEWARE OF THIS WEBSITE SHOPPING MANTRA.COM !!!

THE BELOW WRITE UP SHOULD SERVE AS BOTH A PRODUCT AND STORE REVIEW….. and an eyeopener regarding the policies of the unscrupulous websites :—-

I made the serious mistake of ordering a KITCHEN KNIFE SET from them, which I received today. IT IS THE MOST TERRIBLE/HORRIBLE QUALITY.

THE BOARD WAS MADE OF THIN BLACK RUBBER!
THE KNIVES WERE MADE OF THIN STEEL WHICH BENDS WHEN YOU TRY TO CUT SOMETHING! (I SAY TRY TO CUT, BECAUSE CUTTING SOMETHING IS VERY DIFFICULT WITH THESE SO CALLED KNIVES)

the knives are Chinese made, yes!!…… but even in Chinese made stuff, they are of the lowest quality !!!

NOW FOR THE FUN PART:

I had called up the customer service and spoke to a guy called Mr Mukesh. He said that I could easily return the stuff, but since ShoppingMantra does not have a reverse pick-up policy/system in place, I would have to pay for the courier charges and send the goods myself…… after which the website will return ONLY my initial payment!! COURIER CHARGES TO BE BORNE ONLY BY THE CUSTOMER!!

THE WEBSITE SEEMS TO HAVE A BASIC POLICY……. WE SELL YOU TRASH AT CHEAP PRICES, WHICH YOU CANNOT RETURN, BECAUSE THE COST OF RETURN…… WILL BE THE COST OF THE PRODUCT!!! HA! HA! HA!

So BEST AVOID THIS KIND OF WEBSITE.

Unscruplus Website!!! Beware of Buying from ShoppingYaatna !!!

Trashy and Cheap Quality. No Reverse Pick Up. They make it unviable for you to return any product, even though you hate it.

Customer Service stinks. They will fight you in public Forums rather than provide you customer service.

MY REASON FOR POSTING THIS WIDELY IS SIMPLY THAT, I personally have been duped by this website. My intention is very clear and simple:

1. To share my stupidity in trusting this website and buying from them (through an advance payment)
2. To ensure that my Dimer brothers are warned about dealing with this website, which seems to be a very unprofessional operation.
3. To do my best to see that no other Dimer suffers my fate.

We are all avid shoppers in this fraternity of Dimers and the effort is to make all shopping Safe, Secure, Fun and Bargain Centric. If we all are cautious and aware, NONE of us will lose our hard earned money!

THIS WEBSITE FOR SURE IS ONE TO AVOID !!
Read almost any thread pertaining to Shoppingmantra.com and see what other experienced Dimers, and also the Newbies, have to say about the products received from this SHOPPING-YAATNA (as someone so kindly put it).
