@admin i suggest to make a Sticky thread for infibeam magic box deal
Some of the offers from magic box are very good but one has to search for them or check infibeam for them
instead we can maintain a separate thread for it

As suggested above, please disallow users to ‘Like’ their own posts. The smiley is an indicator of a good deal for general users, and seeing one smiley for each crap deal because the posted clicked ‘Like’ is irritating.

Other New Updates:

• The much awaited Quote feature is here.
• You can continue to use “Quick Reply” for the normal reply popup box that has been around since beginning. Or you can click on “Reply to topic” button at end of the thread, if you want to format your text.. using a toolbar.. (the easier way, if you prefer that)
• Emoticons have also been added. We will try to add the complete set soon.

just thought of giving an advice, as i have noticed that many of the site who’s deal are updated here are watching and reading our blogs and accordingly they are updating their sites and the prices of the products.

Latest example i’d like to give is of my FPD.. it went so popular that zapak and paytm have taken measures and updated thier site features so that we dimers cant take the benefit of it.

So kindly consider my suggestion and restrict our forums access to registered dimers only and also the suggestion given by my elder dimers to provide single a/c to single ip address.

Hope everyone is busy making plans for Diwali.

The much awaited beta version of Store Reviews is now live.

You can rate any store on 6 parameters (on score of 5)

product_and_service_pricing_rating,
chance_of_future_purchase_rating,
shipping_and_packaging_rating,
customer_service_rating,
returns_and_replacement_policy_rating,
ease_of_use_rating

You can only rate a store, if you provide a genuine review alongwith it. Also, all reviews will be manually approved. Please dont bother writing fake reviews. They wont be approved We may ask for additional information for some reviews.

However, All reviews from members with badges will be auto-approved.

Each store front now displays an aggregated review for that store. Along with aggregated reviews on those 6 parameters…

After 6 months, we will enable historical rating on all those 6 parameters too…

In phase 2, we will allow other people to comment on store reviews and click “Helpful? / Not Helpful?”.

Hope this new features helps you in picking the right stores with the right deals!! And make your shopping experience better.

Hi, not sure if this has been suggested, had a quick look but could not find the same of what I am saying below.

Is it possible that we get a mail or sms (maybe as an option in account settings) for certain deals or certain topics. What I had in mind maybe a sms/email once a deal is posted as a FPD or maybe some deals/topics get certain amount of votes/net green votes. I know this might not be practical for everyone, but for people for me who are on the move and mostly at work(where there is very limited access to the internet) it would be a huge benefit. This could also be an added feature based on Current Activity Level/Special Badges/User since date.

Just thinking out loud here. Would love to hear what everyone has to say about this.

If deal is promoted to front page then,

First person to suggest it will get 7 Dimes if its shared by newbie (any dimer will less than 10 fpd), or if its not newbie then he will get 3 Dimes.
