Recommendation for Admins
I recommend a new feature for DD, just as you have added a ‘mute’ button for threads Can you please add a ‘ignore/block/mute’ button for users too.
It will help you too as there would be less altercations between users and you would have lesser need for interventions and monitoring. Normally what I have observed is that there’s no way to avoid a user if he/she talks non-sense or provocate someone and the feud grows evidently. If applied this feature can be of great help in dealing in such situations/users. So, both of us go home happy.

I’m absolutely against it.Hope you won’t “ignore” me if at all this feature comes up.
Everyone is entitled to an opinion and I respect other’s. I have put it up for admins but it is open for discussion. I have mentioned how would it be useful for all of us. Maybe I am wrong maybe not. But, same feature on FB does help users to filter what they like to see and what not. Even help them avoid abuse and unwanted people/comments. I think it’s everyone’s right to choose.
