By the way I was wondering, how does it work? I mean the lenses. Are the lenses only good for 1 month? Is that so? We’re going for lenses for the first time, for anyone, in our family. I have no idea about it.

Hi, Recently purchased monthly disposable lens from lenskart. It is good comparing glasses. But handling at initial is some what difficult. Though the retailer can guide you on this regard. Placing this lens in eye and removing them is little difficult task initially though not always. Have to wash your hands before use to avoid irritation. Better to buy a sunglass for avoiding dust during travelling. Overall VISION is GOOD comapared to glasses.

On life, there is packs starting from daily, weekly, Bi-weekly, monthly, half yearly and yearly. Daily use is costly. There have been a lot of variety ranging from iconnect of Rs. 380/- for 3 months till 4000 (4000 which you can use while cooking bathing, (crying?) also)
It is made of polythene material and coated with layers for your required power. Its life reduces with the usage time. Normal use is daily 8-12 Hrs. (normal one). Hope this will clear some of your doubts.

Great find, voted up. I opted for fill out two forms, one for the daily and the other one for the monthly trial. I selected the email option in both cases and have not got a response yet.

I have received an SMS right away in the first attempt of 1 month free trial. However, I tried the second time for my father, opted for SMS and didn’t receive any response yet.

But of course, got the code for 1 month free trial, for 1 person.

Good to no ur enjoying n using this deal. Do suggest for a fpd so that others can benefit from it. If u guys truely like. i cant comment cos m a no glasses nor lenses guy.

I got confirmation mail filling 1 month trial pack form.

But mail does not mention that it is for 1 month trial!

Also they did not captured my vision details and it may happen that my vision contact lens are not available at that shop and he may ask me to come after a week (shop is 5 kms from my place and i may end up spending more money on petrol than cost of trail pack)
Edit: Ok. Email says "In order to ensure that your prescription lenses are available at the outlet when you visit, please take a prior appointment with the optometrist.

Got it? M surprised. Cos i tried it out and got my mail in some time and also got a call from the showroom which i had opted for. They asked me to vist them and they could help me out with it.

Went to the IGATE branch @HSR in bangalore. They said, we have to order the regular ones. along with them comes the trial ones.

I guess there is a way around this problem. Go to them and tell them that u have come to check out the lens. Tell them that its ur first time and that u would want to give contact lens a try before going for the original mrp once. No seller can deny u the free pack, specially when u have a print out of the mail. Let me know if it worked out for u.

The store guy saw the printout and said that the free trial pack comes with the actual lens order and then he’ll show me how to use on the trial ones

ordered 2 days back… so far no sms no email

Had a chat with the store guy again..He is saying that they will provide the one-day trial ones(though I registered for 1month ones) after a week and they charge 250 if they teach how to put them on

I think contacting the site will be a better option. I have the coupon, but haven’t called the store yet..but I guess, my experience won’t be any better
