A great choice for budget build. Its socket type is LGA 1155 which all the 2nd/3rd Gen Core i series processors have, so there is upgradability option as well. Price comparisons: |

G620, G630, G820…… Series processor Intel Pentium Processor G630 @ Rs.3371/- |

well desidime has changed alot, i am noticing since last few weeks that anything which is sold at a cheaper price turns out to be FPD coz of some good price difference of that product compared to other websites and even when that product is not actually worth that investment. |
Please check the benchmark ratings of those models here (search for 630): http://www.cpubenchmark.net/cpu_lookup.php%3Fcp… That processor is just a few clicks away as far as the benchmark score is concerned. How worthy is it to spend extra 1100 Rs for that performance improvement? |
sorry op, doesn’t worth. its much better to buy amd athlon or phenom. its just dual core celeron with average fsb and speed. since useless i3s and i5s are still not saturated Intel’s prices are not what it should be. this processor worth not more than 500 bucks. |
Bhai, all of the athlons and phenoms even in 3k-4k range have benchmarks lower than G530. Request you to go through the benchmark page. And please don’t compare apple with oranges. If you compare with higher end athlons and phenoms, then you should compare with same price range intel processors. Tell me which processor matches this in 2-3K range. |

benchmarks doesn’t hold any reliability in actual running, does it? agree comparision is vague but so is benchmark. I might require a pc something benchmark didn’t even tested like multitasking or running latest apps or watching HD content which I’m sure this piece wont handle. another thing, why will I require a processor? for upgrades in most cases and for fixing the dead one in rare. now if I buy an orange in amd and not rotten apple in intel I will get better multitasking, graphics, sound, support of apps and speed due to socket and processors combined utility. and what will I spend? 6000 bucks on processor and motherboard. or else if I have 1155 board already, I’ll buy an i3 instead. that’s why I said. doest make sense to buy this. |

AMD LOVER – INTEL HATER

I am not saying intel is apple and amd is orange or vice versa Here are some user discussions which may put more light on this processor’s performance. Before posting the links, I will paste the part of user review “CPU utilization ratio is around 22~35%. For 1920 X 1080 HD video, it can play smoothly. G530 built-in Intel HD Graphics CPU utilization ratio is not as low as HD 2000 or HD 3000, however, Intel entry platform is capable for HD video playback now.” |

check the passmark benchmark it goes with athlon http://www.cpubenchmark.net/cpu_lookup.php?cpu=… but yes its a good proccy for the price but amd have edge with there motherboards (superior IGP to handle video/games) |
