Yea But Zamaana Kharab Hey Can’t Share Cab When You With Your Wife Or GF Specially In Early Morning And Night…Btw I Mostly Go By Airport Bus Only Which Is 180 Rs So Cheaper And Best

BIAS is the best option in bangalore for Airport.Ya for coming one can take the sharing cab but little bit awareness is required.Even you can bargain with cab driver nd few of them will agrre also.

If you are single male and travelling very light,Airport buses are a good option. You may need to take an auto or some one to drop you at the Airport bus stop. If you are a family of two with lot of luggage or 3+ ,then Airport bus does not make sense. I have travelled both to & from Hyderabad /Bangalore Airports by Airport bus. I travel alone mostly with carry on luggage only (& mostly all International trips)
In chennai bus does not work-taxi only. if have too much time on hand , will take electric train up to Trishul station from egmore & then catch a cheap auto.
Mumbai is the only place where you can get an auto on meter from/to Vileparle station to domestic or international terminal. .(rs 30 max!!.
Sometimes share cabs have associates of the driver sitting like passengers & offer cheap ride to airport. Early morning/latenight ….this is quite dangerous. Recently read in newspaper that a passenger was robbed in the middle of no where while coming from Bangalore International airport.
Those cabs who are offering cheap …..will never show up. They may not answer or will keep saying on the way. if you dare take a chance give time 1 hour ahead.

I had paid Rs. 1000 from indira nagar… Was little short of time and asked a cab on the way…

This offer seems quite good as even the airport bus charges around 500 for 3 passengers..

^^ OLA seems to be a good name… and I believe the drivers in OLA cabs are registered and chances that they’ll loot u are minimal…

Title is mis-leading. Its only one way offer from Airport to city, no pickup from your house. I called the customer service today to verify the same.

Yes i generally book it for going – they charge 499 (from any where in city to airport) – NO SHARING

On return they charge 399 (to any part of the city) – NO SHARING

On return i generally book this when my flight is about to take off from mumbai and i add 40 mints to the landing time when booking.

you will get the phone no of the driver on mobile. On reaching just call him. He will generally be standing near Coffee Day at airport.

Pro: Once i got late and the taxi driver went away with other passenger. i called up Deepam cabs and they arranged an alternative in 10mints. It was 12.30 AM that time.

Cons: They over drive a bit. So if you think you cannot handle drivers who speed up the car than this is not for you.

VU for its price!! but i personal don’t like ola…because they canceled my cab at last minute, not once but many times…so beware and be prepare an alternatives transportation

I had availed Ola yesterday from Minerva circle to BIA . They charged me Rs 734/- i.e. @Rs18/km. They said Rs 399 offer is only applicable on journeys from BIA, not vice versa.

• Looks like a clever operator who has canvassed cabs who drop people in BIA and wait in the Q or drive back to city empty if they have another pick up in city.
  This scheme is good for smart penny pinchers who land in bangalore.
  Call OLA 4 to 8 hours before landing & book (with payment?) & get the drivers mobile no.You can call the drivers while you are in baggage collection.
  If you just walk in to Arrival taxi q line & get in to any cab. You need to pay rs 700 to city.

sorry guys.. i am not aware that this offer is not applicable for pickups at any place in Bangalore..

I remember one more offer Use code “Airport500” I think this works for pickups as well… they have limited numbers for this code/day.
