serious recommendation…please shut down the website.

I had ordered three items from Indiaplaza on November 4th 2012, paying Rs. 4476, through my Debit card (Order Number: I04111200398). Two of the items were delivered within the promised time, but I am still waiting for one of the item – Inpro Mop 5 In 1 Steamer S20, which costs Rs. 4099.
It is now more than 20 days and as per the written promise on the website, this is usually shipped within 5 business days. I have been following up with Indiaplaza via tickets raised on their online portal (Ticket Number: CNT0811120154) and also by calling their customer care numbers – 91-80-49091234.
The responses that I get from them is not at all satisfactory, where there is no response on my tickets raised online, the call to the customer care informs me that they do not have a waybill number from BlueDart courier, which is the problem! I am always told that it is going to take a week more for some logistical issues and I am also receiving emails from them saying that the Shipment is Delayed (“Due to some unforeseen circumstances, your shipment for order I04111200398 placed with us on 04-Nov-2012 has been delayed. The issue is being sorted out and we are going to ship the order latest by 26-Nov-2012.”) I have got similar emails on the 14th, 16th, 20th and now on 26th!
I had, on 23rd November, called up the customer care and requested them to cancel my order and refund my money, as I am getting frustrated with all the follow-ups and “no response” from Indiaplaza. They confirmed via phone that this will be cancelled within 24 hrs and the refund will be done at the earliest. There was no confirmation email or any other intimation on the cancellation, and I receive an email on 26th that the shipment is delayed and it will be shipped.
I am feeling cheated and I did a big mistake by trusting Indiaplaza. I have all the relevant documents and emails that support my claim here.

Please go thru’ below case, which would be enough to get an idea, how pathetic indiaplaza.com is, and how even worst is their so called “customer care” is.

Just to add that, I am PLATINUM customer of indiaplaza.com, and still, they have left me helplessf or many such instances, you can imagine for first time customer, or who are less aware of e-commerce business.

I had placed an order # I30081202081 for Sandisk Pendrive 16GB with http://www.indiapla…om on 30 Aug 2012.

For this order, on 31-Aug-2012 4:49 PM I requested them for address change, but they refused saying item will be shipped next day. But, at the same time, they suggested to decline the shipment while being delivered, hence will be returned to Indiaplaza and then, the refund will be processed immediately. The response was posted 31-Aug-2012 5:54 PM by indiaplaza.

Post that, as suggested by Indiaplaza, I had declined on delivery and requested to return the same to shipper, as per bluedart AWB (#43199095575 / Returned via. 46142118746) tracking system, the return was received by ANAND 25350123 on 05 September 2012 Time of Delivery : 15:37.

Since then, I am following up with Indiaplaza over a registered ticket (Ticket ID: CNT3108120137) and almost calling quite frequently, but nothing positive have turned out till date. In fact, whenever I call them, I am always been assured that, within next 24 hours this ticked will be closed and refund would be initiated, but, that was all fake commitment and never done as per their word. For name sake, I talked to Mr. Vasim, Mr. Janardan and many of indiaplaza.

Indiaplaza is neither refunding money nor responding on the issue.

This is their behavour with customer, who is platinum member of indiaplaza.com, who has offered business for more than few lacs of rupees, yet they left me stryed, without any help.

I advice you all to be abstained E-shopping from Indiaplaza.com

I had rcvd reward points in my account , to use those points, I placed an order and selected option to redeem the reward points. I made the payment through credit card and the payment did not consider the points , and whole amount was cut from my card. As soon as i got this information, I called up INDIAPLAZA customer support, and explained them the situation. There was no help, only support they had, was telling me that the points were not redeemed… I mean come on man, its your website..not mine, when i have chosen to redeem , why it did not? However, I wanted them to cancel my order in case they were not in position to give my points back, again.. they told that it can not be cancelled, as its already shipped… other option which i provided the supervisor was to pay me back the reward points amount on my credit card… they had some excuse for that too!!! Really disgusted ..I wanted to escalate the matter… but its really difficult to manage your irritation while talking to these so called SUPPORT guys…having no solution for the customers!!!!! I m never going to waste my time shopping on this website ever again!! the reward points are just for SHOW business and attracting the customer..the program does not really work at all. Silly website ..does not work half the time whenever you try to redeem your points.. and the Customer support … is there on place.. I think just for passing time… !!! Worst online shopping experience ever..!!!!

indiaplaza products are good but but shipping service is not good. they will take min 10 days to deliver your product

I Bought Lg Fathom from Indiaplaza.com which is too rare too be found in any shop or on the internet even.. Its price sidelined all other handsets in the same rice range. The payment was done quickly to which the site responded instantly.. with 24hrs they had dispatched the order which i got on the second day nicely packed and secured. i Am happy with the service and wish to purchase from Indiaplaza again!

shopping from indiaplaza is nighmare i purchased a enter wireless mouse from indiaplaza abt abt 30 days ago and till now i have not received my order and i called them they never pick up call and when i tired to mail them i found tht on contact us page i could not send them message too and getting an error " Reference to object is invalid" seems like they have programming and i am still waiting for my order

My sincere advice to all online shoppers, don’t go for any expensive stuff through IndiaPlaza… Also be careful with any kind of shopping with IndiaPlaza, because if something goes wrong then be prepared for the worst kind of customer service…

They don’t respond to your ticket raised on their website for long time. Even if they respond there have some standards reply, like “We will fix your issue soon”. They don’t have a toll free customer care number and you have to wait for a minimum of 15 mins to get a chance to talk to a customer care executives… Also believe me your query will never get resolved in 1 call. You have to keep them calling again again. And the worst part it, I wrote several mails to their customer care executives keeping their managers in CC. But still they did not respond.

So finally with my experience with these people I can just advice others to think as least 100 times before going through any king of shopping through India Plaza.

I have been a customer of Indiaplaza since 2000-01, from the time when it was called Fabmart (perhaps they are the online online merchant for India)! I have been their customer through their journey from Fabmart → Fabmall → IndiaPlaza, so far I must have purchased goods worth more than a lakh rupees from them. The biggest chunk of my online shopping spending has gone to Indiaplaza!

It has been roller coaster experience with them as a customer. Sometimes they delight me with their prompt delivery and services and at other times it has been nightmarish experience to deal with them.

In the early years particularly their delivery was prompt and the post sales service was excellent. But over these years the post sale services from them have deteriorated, reason why I shop with them lesser these days.

I have not yet dumped them (perhaps wont do that ever), mainly because their book collection is great and suits my needs, give good discounts in books.

I love them and I hate them at times too, but if they were not around I would perhaps won’t do any online shopping at all..

I wish they try harder once more and they would sure be the best in India again…

ip: yes sir, it is all inclusive, you need not pay anything extra apart the final charges while ordering.

dudu: if that is the case why am i being charged octroi on the product i have purchased? i recently purchased led bulb and my order no is xxxxxxxxxx. so kindly refund.

ip: ok sir, give your pincode.

dudu: 400xxx

ip: sir, you stay in mumbai and in some parts of mumbai octroi is charged and is to be borne by customer

dudu: what nonsense? when i talk as a potential customer, no octroi applicable and when you come to know that i have already paid octroi you tell that customer bears it?

Unfortunately i have ordered one more bulb which they have already shipped. Again loss of Rs42

They do not have a toll free number to call – if you do call the tolled no. be prepared to wait 10 minutes on the queue. If you open a ticket wait 15 days for a response and many times tickets are closed without your approval/acceptance.
If there are changes required to be made to your order – these will not happen inspite of CC telling you that these have been implemented.

Indiaplaza is a very good site to shop.I am using it since 2005. I always send rakhis from this site.It offers the best and cheapest rakhis.Today itself I have bought a USB card reader, the cheapest available.I am happy to shop with this site.The delivery is also quite fast.
