I have used Infibeam twice, both were bad experiences. I first bought a phone from them an year ago but the delivery was delayed a lot with some standard answers that ‘we have referred this to the appropriate team’.
I thought an year is a long time and decided to checkout the site again. I placed an order on March 6th (order id 10335693), and was promised a shipping by 9th. A week passed by and there was no response. Calls & emails to customer care was the same again ‘We have received the complain in your email and have raised the same to the concerned department’. A few days later they sent another mail saying the delivery was delayed and it would be shipped by 18th. No response again. A few more calls and emails led to the same reply – ‘We are in process of sorting the complain that you registered with us. Please give us a little more time for an update’. Don’t mind the grammar in the sentences, I have just pasted it from their mail. Finally I lost my cool and asked for a refund. I did get a refund confirmation email ( money not credited into my account yet) from ccavenue today but then its money locked for 20 days.
Infibeam might list a few items a tad cheaper than the others, but they cause a lot of heartburn. I would simply avoid this site.

I order a product ID 10126464 by advance payment on 3rd feb, was supposed to be shipped by 7th but didnt…i called up and also wrote a mail to cust care and they assured me it would be shipped on 8th morning, which again did not happen… on 8th evening the twitter account of infibeam assured me that it would be shipped by evening, which ofcourse didnt happen again…now on 9th when i called up the cust. care the lady said there was some payment issues with vendor(guess Infibeam hasnt cleared past dues with vendors) after a while she said there was a stock issue, so i pressed and asked which one was true stock or payment ? on which she just hung up the phone… imagine the level of cust service… i feel like cheated since i paid in advance, never ever pay in advance to such shitty websites…i m at total mercy of infibeam now, thinking of complaining to APPELATE TRIBUNAL & Consumer Forum…

I had placed an order ( Order No. : 9777627) on December 1, 2012 for a home furnishing item by making full payment of Rs 2796/-. It is after 18 days, there is no trace of delivery of the item. Even after calling the customer service, there is no development. I have purchased on line so many items on ebay, fashion and you, indiatimesshopping,etc but never had such a bad experience. The site is basically for cheating and lure one time customers. Should be avoided for any pre paid purchases.

Still I’m not get any solution form infibeam.com about this theft. please not buy any product from this website and save your energy and money..

I had bought 2 mobile( iBall andi2 ) from your website. I received the parcel after 10 days retardation from mentioned maximum date in which you drop written mail to me. In this courier you missed to pack 3 product ( 2 qty of 4GB memory card and 3.5mm Stereo Hands free) therefore I made a call to your customer support. My call was handled by XXX.Suhani(I don’t like to use bad word in this eMail, without bad word I can’t to expose about her) she didnt gave me proper response and wasted my time and hers too, also she was talking like xxxx, as per her request herewith I’ve enclosed photo of box, please find it and give the items which you has missed to pack as soon as possible.

But Today Is 18 October And Has Ever Happened. When I Called Them The “EXECUTIVES” again Informed Me That They Haven’t Even Shipped It Yet. They Said That They Will Call Me On 19 October To Aknowledge The Status Of The Order.

Anyone Reading This Should Have Understood By Now That “INFIBEAM” Is The ’WORST’ Choice Whatsoever When It Comes To Online Shopping

I ordered a Philips beard trimmer from infibeam. My order number is 9285248 (if one of those infibeam folks see this review and want to confirm that this is not fake). They take my money from net banking. The order shows that it will get shipped on August 31st, 2012 and will get delivered by September 5th, 2012. Its September 5th and I have no clue where my stuff is. I call up customer service – the worst possible English accent I have heard in my lifetime – they simply tell me ‘your product has not been shipped yet sir’ – so I ask them ‘Why?’ – they stammer .with ‘sir, sir….’ – no proper answer – so now I ask them ‘When will it get shipped?’ – their answer – ‘sir, it will get shipped sir’ – I ask them again ‘I asked you when’ – same reply – ‘sir, it will get shipped sir’ – I ask for a refund – I get the reply ‘sorry sir, it will get shipped sir’ – I am done and I hang up. Do they really call this ‘customer service’ , it sounded more like ‘customer torture’ to me. I pin my hopes on their customer service email, maybe a sensible rep will see my email – So I send them a detailed email about my order and that I have no clue what is happening to it – No reply on the 1st day. I email them again the next day – no reply. Nice . Not even the usual ‘auto reply’ that sends you back a courtesy email saying ‘We will address your issue’. Simply no reply!!! At this point, I have no clue about my order and I am just hoping I will receive it some day. I am taking the pain to write this so that other folks read this and stay away from these cheats. Please don’t waste your money and get pathetic customer service. Flipkart is much better, my experience with them so far has been good. STAY AWAY FROM INFIBEAM!!

earlier i plan to buy the item from letsbuy. when compare the price infibeam is better option for price wise. surprisingly i receive the item by May 25, 2012 itself. Where as i placed the order by May 23rd evening. received the item in nice packing. Am happy with the item which received.

I purchased a Black & Decker, 2 Slice Toaster, ET202 (White) toaster from Infibeam. They send an e.mail asking to review the product. There were problems with the product (not Infibeam), so I posted a review to warn other consumers. It has been five days. I guess the review being negative, they are refusing to post it on their website, although they apologized for the problems by a phone call, and promised to post the review.

I will be wary of a company that refuses to post negative opinions of the products they sell.

Here is the review that I wrote for the toaster after using it for about 4 days.

Pros:

1. Pops up the toast!

2. Looks quite decent.

Cons:

1. Comes with a UK plug (is that legal?). After you receive it, first go and buy an adapter, or do the more specialized job of cutting the wire and attaching an Indian plug.

2. Even at the setting of 3 it partially burns the toast. The so called \‘electronic variable browning control\’ knob goes up to 7. I want to see the CEO of Black and Decker eating a toast browned at a setting of 7, or even 6.

3. There is no mechanism to centre the toast in the slot. A standard thin Indian slice of bread will fall to one side, and the toast will be overdone on one side.
(Infibeam: I suggest that presence or absence of this mechanism should be part of the standard description of specs.)

Final recommendation: Do not buy it if you like your toast.

PS. No issues with Infibeam. They did a flawless professional job.

infibeam.com is very good shopping site, I have got some products from this site, the packing and delivery is excellent,I regularly fallow the magic box deals for very good marginal prices. In my view this is No:1 and refarral for price. all deals I compare with this site first next letsbuy then ebay last google shopping serch option then buy.

Low cost,Reliability, Timely Delivery are their mantra. Though it doesnt have the reach like flipkart(thanks to its advertisements in all forms of media), Infibeam is the best e-commerce site,IMO. The e-commerce industry has become huge now and we can see many e-commerce sites. But only few are remembered and has regular customers. Infibeam is such a company.Recently, they have launched their own logistics division. Kudos to their team!
