One observation from my end is for the other products apart from gift cards, citi bank offer which is getting displayed in the product page is also not visible at the checkout page to apply the citi bank offer

For myself, I bought the woohoo elite gc’s 2 days back using citibank credit card, till now gc’s are not yet delivered to me and just now Snapdeal started reverting the amount crediting back to my citi bank credit card account, had u faced the same issue, please update us

Yes, snapdeal is playing dirty games here. I order 3×3K egvs of which 1 egv was cancelled from their end (no message about cancellation, no email, no refund message). Only shows up in order history about cancellation. 3K got credited back to account today.
Now the worst part is, cashback will not be given if order is cancelled for whatsoever reason. So now i ended up paying 6K for 6K worth egv..and i wont receive cashback also.
Another order of 3×3K egvs and 1×2K egv delivered and redeemed in woohoo as well. But i committed a bigger blunder in woohoo account – another sad story for me. so in all this has been a loss making deal for me where i lost 1350 cb from SD and another 900 loss in woohoo cos of my stupidity.

Citibank is sort of denying cashback for Snapdeal transactions

The concerned team has requested to send the invoice copy from your registered email id to retail.dox.india[at]citi.com
Since the cash back is still not yet credited, the invoice copy will help us to check why the cash back credit is still not reflecting on your card
Anyone following up with citibank?
Don’t follow up with Citibank. I called Citibank and they informed me that they had not got any intimation from Snapdeal to credit the cashback. Now they are asking for order number and invoice. Invoice will show the gift card and straightway they will reject our claim. So don’t follow up with Citibank.
You should write a mail to Snapdeal support saying that we didn’t get cashback ever after 90 days. Though the 15% cashback was not valid for certain gift cards, but it was valid for Woohoo Elite Gift Card as the cashback banner was shown on this product page throughout the offer period. In fact I sent a query through mail before purchasing and they called me and confirmed that as it was showing on product page, cashback would be valid. So now they can’t deny.
I sent mail to Snapdeal and got a call, the lady executive well understood the case and promised to get back with a definite resolution. We should all use media like email, twitter, facebook to complain about this issue. If we all do, I hope we will get cashback. Citibank will not give cashback unless Snapdeal instructs them to do so.
SD is already about to close many time in recent time. Not sure escalation will help. Rather we should avoid such CB offer from SD.
