One can buy gold with credit cards when getting at a rate which is significantly less than CMP and sell it back after realising profit and repay the CC dues

At least that's what I do

I sold some gold this Monday ( bought between Dec & Jan) at ~9% gains and cleared my CC dues

Depends from Jeweller to Jweller and what are you exchanging it for (cash/ jewellery)

Some may do the purity test while some may just check the overall weight of coins you are selling and when you develop trust with them they will just take without even removing from certicard

Many local Jwellers take it for Cash also respectively brands also take their own gold for 2-3% deduction on CMP
