As per the updated MITC for Axis Bank Freecharge Plus Credit Card, the 5% Cashback on spends across Freecharge app became +truly unlimited+, scrapping away the Rs. 500/750 /- ceiling. This means you can earn 5% on all spends including insurance payments etc. * The changes are already in effect with all statements generated after 12th Aug 2021. * This effectively puts the card ahead of ACE/ICICI-apay, and many other super premium cards. * The joining/annual fees are nominal compared to other paid cards in the group. Official wordings: * Unlimited Cashback – The Rs.500 capping on cashback earned in a statement cycle will be removed for all cashback credited post 12th Aug 2021. (For transactions between 12th July and 12th Aug, customer will earn unlimited cashback) Terms and Conditions – Cashback on Axis Bank Freecharge Credit Card What has changed? Following are the changes in cashback starting 12th Aug 2021. 1. Unlimited Cashback – The Rs.500 capping on cashback earned in a statement cycle will be removed for all cashback credited post 12th Aug 2021. (For transactions between 12th July and 12th Aug, customer will earn unlimited cashback) Download Updated MITC: https://www.axisbank.com/docs/default-source/de... Remember: As it seems, the card confusingly named: "Axis Bank Freecharge Credit Card" is a different variant, without any mention for this offer.
CAVEAT: Freecharge doesn't have in-app payment mechanism for LIC. So, that indeed is a bummer. You have to rely on other avenues for LIC like Paytm-citi (3% CB or take the convoluted giftcard route using smartbuy with DCB/Infinia) APOLOGIES: It seems that this topic was already discussed earlier by sri222. My apologies for unnecessary duplication. It didn't appear on my initial search prior to posting this. The threads may be merged. https://www.desidime.com/discussions/axis-freec...

Electricity bill payments above 2500 not allowed for payment using this card as clarified by @sgsg792
Also there seems to be convenience charges for bills greater than a certain amount & paid via non-upi methods(click on images to open original large view).
Update 02:07.2022 Confirmed by @scorpion that electribity bill payments for amt more than 2500 now working.
Ok. I agreed. I overstated.
What is the Joining/ Annual fees?

Do anyone know how to check the CC Application Status of Axis Flipkart Card??Cause there is no support in Customer Care on Call. They are asking me to visit nearby branch
How it can be ahead of Axis Bank ACE ?
Also how can be ahead of ICICI Amazon Pay and Also Axis Flipkart ?
Already when I applied on 29 aug, app showed 5 pct unlimited cashback for txns done in FreeCharge. Because of which I applied and got approved.
Waiting for 1st statement to get it confirmed. As per my calculation till now 942 cashback calculated.
Received cashback of Rs.1611 for the October statement today.
As per my calculation the amount is 1659. Mostly it is matching.
Done Recharge, postpaid, Electricity payments in app. All captured correctly it seems.
I have done one 30000 insurance payment on 31Oct. It will come in this month statement.
Will confirm whether we are receiving 5 pct on this or not after this month cashback statement.
Axis ace card unlimited 5% cashback payment through gpay all bills & utilities , but all are saying 2.5% CB lic payment? can anyone tell
LIC insurance cannot be paid through GPay yet, so Ace won’t attract a 5% cashback. You’ll get 2% instead. 2.5% is if you pay via IDFC CC.
@HiDEaL – Can you explain the Paytm citi 3% cb deal?
I hv paytm citi card, can i pay LIC premium through paytm and get 3% cb?
Also, how exactly this works?
Yupp. Absolutely.
As simple as that.
it has lesser annual fee as compared to ace.
Can we get 5% unlimited cashback on rent payments done on FreeCharge app as well? If yes then on which variant? Normal or Plus? Moreover, I already have 3 axis credit cards. Can I get 4th one or I need to surrender one and get this one?
You cannot pay electricity bill of more than 2500 on freecharge using this cc.

I have this card, as they had made cashback unlimited but YOU CANNOT PAY EBILL MORE THAN 2500 IN FC APP using this card
They had made this restriction
Whats the difference between
Axis Bank Freecharge Credit Card & Axis Bank Freecharge Plus Credit Card ???
Can anyone please answer this.
does it give 5% cashback for rent payments done inside the free charge platform?
Rent payments are excluded specifically as per the new Terms, special Thanks to Youtubers
Does anyone has screenshot saved of 500 Cashback on Applying for Freecharge Axis Credit Card ?
what are the eligibility criteria? I am not getting option to apply for this card on my freecharge app. what can i do to get this card?
I think you can call the axis cc and request for the card via upgrade option
@Scorpion bro, Got this card recently and made bill payment of 11000 but cahsback for this is not showing under Cashback Earned section in statement. Would they directly credit cashback without showing it on statement. Screenshot of statement below.

S. They will not show cashback like Airtel card in this month. They will credit 3 days before next statement generation date. For me 8th day of the month.
@Scorpion and others…
Anyone applied recently? After conditional approval, what are the steps? vkyc? physical visit, etc?
Are the bill payment limits etc still in place?
@Scorpion Any clues to the other post above? I’m thinking to accept the invite for FC plus card, will post a separate topic for this soon.
But one question, I don’t hold any axis card (not even fk). So this card is easy to get… will it open gates to requesting other axis cc (including FK axis) by calling CC without further verification or documentation? I may as well cancel this after I get a better axis CC…what do you think?
You can try for Freecharge plus card, easily approved compared to other axis cards.
Once u get this card, u can call customer care and get other axis cards, without cibil enquiry and application process, but that will also be a paid card.
Once u get a good Axis card u can close this card also
Freecharge card annual fee only 350 + GST and they will give 700 worth gvs as joining benefit. Annual spend waiver also only 50000 which is easily acheivable.
@Scorpion I see now that LIC is added again in FC.
So physical visit and docs collection, aadhaar thumbprint mandatory for first axis CC (including FC axis)?
Yes, 700-413(Inc gst)=287 gain for first year even if one does nothing with it.
After getting this CC, if I apply within 3 months through FK, instant approval right? But limit only shared with FC card and same as FC card?
LIC is available for payment. Buy it is allowing only UPI mode of payment in payment screen. Just now checked.
Axis will have physical and biometric verification. They won’t collect any documents, everything will be done in mobile app itself.
All details will be entered by the person who comes to verification in his mobile app.
@Scorpion I guess you missed what I meant:
After getting this CC, if I apply within 3 months through FK, instant approval right? But limit only shared with FC card and same as FC card?
If u apply thru Flipkart, that application will be treated as fresh application and approval / rejection will be decided based on the verification carried out at that time. Mostly this card will have seperate limit, which will be very less (many got only 15k limit in Nov2021 batch)
When u hold any Axis card, u have to Call customer care and ask them to issue additional card based on the existing axis CC. In this process no Cibil enquiry will be done and the limit will be shared amount both the cards.
If someone is already having axis bank acc(but no axis cc) & then apply for this card via freecharge app will fresh kyc still be there.
P.S. Can you confirm If the electricity bill payment of more than 2500 condition is now not there so that I can edit the deal wiki?
why u guys don’t use ace credit card That also give 5% cashback on electricity bills withour any upper cap ??
In my case, TNEB payments success rate is very high in FreeCharge app when compared to Google pay or airtel thanks app.
So I prefer to use FreeCharge card.
Not yet received the voucher … they promised …
Yes. But before that check whether ur service provider is available in app for payment.
It’s not ahead of ace
Freecharge doesn’t have LIC
