Both IPS and VA are better than TN , VA lacks in Colour reproduction ,viewing angles and also response time from IPS though .IPS is for immersive display.
VA is the middle ground ,which serves as a good monitor with good contrast and better in Refresh rates at times with IPS.
I have used both I like IPS more.But VA is good too.
