Airtel has launched a credit card in partnership with Axis bank.
The card will come with a fee of Rs.500+gst.
Key features of the card include:

25% cashback on Airtel Mobile/DTH recharges, Airtel Black and Airtel Xstream Fiber payments
10% cashback on Electricity/Gas/Water bill payments via Airtel Thanks app
10% cashback on spends with preferred merchants – BigBasket, Swiggy, Zomato
1% cashback on all other spends
Amazon e-Voucher Rs 500 on card activation within 30 days of issuance
Cashback for transactions done through Airtel Thanks App has been capped at Rs.300 per month for each category (airtel bill payments and non airtel bill payments).
Cashback for preferred merchants has been capped at Rs.500 per month.
Cashback for all other spends is uncapped.

Cashback Terms & Conditions – Airtel Axis Bank Credit Card
Definitions: For the Airtel Axis Bank Credit Card, the following terms shall, unless the context otherwise admits, shall have the following meanings:
- Cashback shall mean money awarded in the customer’s credit card account under the cashback scheme.
- Preferred Merchants shall include certain merchants on which the cashback earnings shall be 10%. These merchants can change at the bank’s discretion.
- The cashbacks will be processed according to the following table:

| Airtel Mobile, Broadband, WiFi and DTH bill payments via Airtel Thanks App* | 25% |
| Utility bill payments such as gas, electricity, etc., via Airtel Thanks App* | 10% |
| Preferred merchants* | 10% |
| All other merchants/ other spends | 1% |
Capped at Rs.300 per month
** Cashback shall be eligible on spends made on Preferred merchants – Swiggy, Zomato, & bigbasket. The total cashback is capped at Rs.500 per month across all merchants. Preferred merchants and their respective offers are subject to change from time to time without any prior notice.
- Cashback shall not be eligible for following spends/transactions on the card,
- Fuel Spends
- EMI transactions
- Purchases converted to EMI post facto
- Wallet loading transactions o Purchase of Jewelry items
- Cash advances
- Payment of outstanding balances
- Payment of card fees and other card charges
- Rental Payments
For eg. If the customer spends Rs. 30,000 in a billing cycle with the following break up of spends of Recharge through Airtel Thanks App: 2500 & Utility Bill payment through Airtel Thanks App: Rs. 2,500 | Swiggy, Zomato & Bigbasket: Rs. 5,000 | Other spends: Rs. 20,000. Out of these “Other spends”, Rs. 10,000 was an EMI purchase. Thus, the total spends eligible for cashback would only be Rs. 2,500 + Rs. 2,500 + Rs. 20,000 – Rs. 10,000 (EMI transaction) = Rs. 20,000

Actually I see this first time, As learning I first applied for LIC card, later 1-2 more card.
They come to my home and take detail and then rejected.
Meanwhile ICICI did verify all thing and did release a card in 2-3 days.

You got monnies (even you pay for insurance which most cc not allow). Don’t spent them, collect and once you reach the limit withdrawl all you are getting 2% of all transaction. Most of CC come with condition. Axis bank rentpay I did on Dec 21 is not give me cashback yet, because I need to wait for offer expire + 90 days. This means I need to wait for 4-5 months. Most of NBFC transaction give cashback at same time.

In my case they make 4 queries on CIBIL Score. I get a ICICI Credit card without a query and that’s also Visa Signature.
This is the problem with AXIS BANK
If you use to the limit, they will offer an increased limit immediately at least in other banks. Also, you have the option to pay the balance amount early instead of waiting for the bill cycle if you know you have exhausted the limit. It’s better to get it now if you are interested.
Yes. But this is not the case with Axis, I am using over 70% of credit limit in all 6 months since I got the card. Should see if I will get Limit enhancement as I have completed 6 months.

As soon as i tried to login to axis bank card application page and register interest, got call from scammer +91-8948180172 , saying i am getting 8000 edge rewards points as bonus on axisrewards.in , those idiots are asking for card details expiry and cvv there lmao.
