Amazon pay later - Cibil report

2 years back, Amazon pay later account opened (lending partner – capital float) and also closed. Closing date reported in Cibil report.
Today I found a new entry in cibil report with same Amazon pay later loan account number (lending partner – Karur Vysya). The opening date/year of both the entries are same.

I didn’t ask them to reactivate the Amazon pay later.
I can see that Amazon Pay later is not active in my Amazon account. Amazon customer service executive also confirmed the same.
Capital float and IDFC are lending partners for Amazon pay later. I think, Capital float tied up with Karur Vysya for this.
How can they reactivate without customer consent ? Is it possible to remove the entry by complaining to Cibil ?

Okay, few dimers already having the same issue. I think, whoever closed the Amazon pay later…they should check their Cibil report.

Capital float executive confirmed that Karur Vysya is co-lending partner and they are aware of many customers facing the same issue.
Within 10 days issue will be resolved (entry will be removed from the Cibil report). It takes around 45 days to update the same in Cibil report.

Capital float tied-up with Karur vysya (co-lending partner).
Capital float Manager told me that for 10K approved loan limit, Karur vysya had 80% share (8K) and Capital float had 20% share (2K).

In my case, 2 years back Amazon pay later was approved with Rs.99K, after few months it was decreased to Rs.10K.
At that time, Capital float was reporting to Cibil. So the loan account was reported as opened and also closed.
Karur Vysya also had the loan account information but 2 years back they didn’t report to Cibil. Few months back only they started reporting to Cibil, so that’s the reason, we are seeing the same loan account now in Cibil. Because of Karur Vysya also had share in approved loan limit, they had to report to Cibil, which can’t be removed now from Cibil report.

I asked him, but the loan account was already closed. Didn’t capital float share the closed account information with Karur Vysya ? How can Karur Vysya report a closed loan account which now showing active ? He didn’t have answer. He told me that he will get back to me after contacting with Karur Vysya about this, but he didn’t call me again.

really these all are creating mess. In 2008 i gave a surety to my colleague, the moron syndicate bank instead of reporting his credentials to cibil reported his first name and my second name to my CIBIL, I noticed it very lately and I raised a dispute with the CIBIL, but of no avail. Anyone knows the remedy other than courts if CIBIL doesn’t entertain our dispute.

I am facing the same issue. That’s quite disturbing. I have sent an email to [email protected] and [email protected] mentioning my concern and hoping to get a revert now. Capital float confirmed to me earlier that the capital float account would be removed from my credit lines and it has been removed but now what about this karur vyasa bank. This unapproved/sanctioned loan of 8000/- has rigorously declined my credit score. How they can do that without customer consent. That’s horrible. @sri222 did you get any update on your issue?

Karur Vysya has 80% share in the loan sanctioned by Capital float. That’s why there are 2 loan entries in Cibil.
From last 4 months, they were saying the same…it will be closed next month but still it’s Active.
Few dimers mentioned that it’s already closed for them. Hopefully, soon it will be closed for everyone.
