for ex: if we purchase 999 prime gift card from https://www.gyft...m/ if renew is available after 2 to 3 months then in this case amazon prime price is increased to 1499 SO while applying 999 prime git code then amazon might ask us to pay 500 rs balance amount ?
Possible but usually in such cases raising complaint with amazon/gyftr saying when you bought the code it came with 1 year validity should work as technically you paid for 1 year code at the time of purchase & within the code expiry period you should get the same benefit.

Renewed my membership using the Oneplus Red Cable Pro, Amazon code. Didn’t realize could extend the membership using the code. Tried and it worked.
The code was expiring in november and my prime membership in january. Successfully renewed till Jan 2023.

No. But a good deal if it extends for multiple years. But there is always risk if prime benefits remains the same all upcoming years
