I have had really bad experience with pantry recently.
First order: One order marked as rejected as customer, 2 delivered in which 4 biscuit packets missing and one sugar destroyed.
The items that were marked missing, I reordered them and today, it was split into 3 orders: one order again rejected by customer even though I wasn’t contacted, second delivered and third delivered with items whose value is 500 instead of 1500 and a lot of missing items.
I really feel that Amazon delivery guys are stealing groceries and I couldn’t get dal delivered at my home in 2 separate orders. Suggest you to check whenever they deliver, else you might also get looted if you don’t pay attention.
Even lost of icici cashback, around 200-300 rupees as the final delivery value was less than 2000 and this happened twice. Very disappointed. Would prefer flipkart or bigbasket in the future.
This kind of experiences are usually location based, as the delivery guy is involved in foul play. To be true, haven’t faced any such issues in last 3 years or more.
There were cases when an item was damaged in transit. For such cases, Amazon has compensated without any issues.
This time, there was instant discount on ICICI cards. Hence, cashback won’t be there.
Even I never faced these issues ever, buying for years.
I meant instant discount, if the value of the order drops below 2000 after refunds, the benefit you get using instant discount goes to waste. So if you bought 2300 worth stuff with 230 discount you paid 2070. But if you 301 worth stuff is returned or not delivered by them and a refund is initiated, you will get only 2070 – 1999 back as refund which is 71 rupees. Flipkart doesn’t do this bad math Amazon does even though it’s not technically my fault if they damage packages I still lose on discounts.
Amazon pantry and noon pantry delivery is always good here in Kerala. Hope they continue to be good.
Only delivery company that I hate is Delhivary.
