I’ve said it before and I’m saying it again… DO NOT BUY MACBOOKS !

  1. Apple’s hardware is absolute crap, especially Macbooks after 2017-18. A very high % of them are requiring repairs. So until your macbook is in warranty, all good, after that, even a keyboard replacement will set you back by 18k.
  2. Apple still has repair issues because company does not believe in repairing, it only believes in replacing, hence a higher cost is thrown on your head if your macbook needs hardware replacement.
  3. Nearly every Apple device launched in last 4 years has had some sort of replacement/repair program. Be it iPhone 12 sound issues, iPhone 11 display issues, Macbook Pro & Air keyboard issues, Airpods Pro sound issues, iPad Air 3rd gen blank screen issues, Macbook Pro battery & display backlight issues, etc. Even their power adapters had issues hence needed to be replaced.

What does this all tell? It just tells that hardware quality and testing has gone for a toss at Apple. Especially for MacBooks. My relatives & friends with iPhones had better experience.

Go ahead and buy MacBook Air at 73k only if your actual budget is 1.5x (110k), so when it comes to repair, you won’t be out of money laughing

PS: I’ve a 13.3" Macbook Pro 2017 with touchbar. You can google the issues. I had purchased AppleCare for additional 18k, so got display + keyboard + touchbar replaced in warranty in the 3rd year. But even the replaced display now has black lines and erroneous backlighting within a year of replacement! So now I’m looking at a 51k bill for display replacement. So this comes from personal experience. Buy products which have better repairability and hardware. Else your money your choice! stuck_out_tongue

I missed the 15 min window, did you see any addition discount? Because 80k is also there on Amazon so it was 79,999 nothing exceptional.

2017 MacBooks with Butterly Keyboards are infamous for keyboard issues that is well know I beleive. Otherwise i would disagree with you as Macbooks are quite reliable in my experience with many units (personal as well as work provided) that i have used over past 12 years. The new M1 ones are likely to be even more reliable as they produce far less heat.

better joy

iPhones did not fail or had hardware issues that often. Different vendors manufacture iPhones and Macbooks, that might be the difference!

Agree completely. Apple quality is pretty ordinary atmax if not bad. It’s just the false aura that has been formed behind it that makes people feel that Apple products are out of world.

Have on and off tried Apple product at office and personal use ranging from iPods to iMacs to Mac mini to MacBooks to iphones to airbuds.. Have face more hardware issues in Apple products than products from other companies. The user experience is also hyped.

Apple products are for dummies or for those who only want to show off and have tonnes of money to throw

It was below average, but things will get done…Bought Airpods Pro and cancelled it on same day…had to call them multiple time as cancelling from order page is not enough unfortunately. Took them 7 days initiate the return.

Ordered wrong Filter for my Air purifier. Took them more than 15 days to attend the request…I had to call them one time to get things sorted…also mailed them 2 times…but they accepted the return…picked it up …i am waiting for return…i got the product on 3 November and initiated the return request on same day..they have initiated the return..now waiting for it to reflect in my account….

If you are sure…you want to buy the product…then only buy it…else do not place order if you have any doubt and you would cancel it or return it because they take a lot of time to do things.

When does the 6000 cashback get credited? Also, I selected it as no cost EMI, still it amounts to 80851 after including GST on interest.

Deal Hunter Deal Hunter

Was this the only product in your cart?
Also, it says the cashback will be credited within 120 business days from the last date of transaction month.

Yes, Apple is going bad! Macbook pro stopped working after 1 year with constant bugs and crashed, cutomer care denied helping as now they point it to hardware issue.
