So funny bro, no worries at all.

I went to Tanisq few days back and they gave these rates on earth (not on moon)

61800 24 ct

13630 for 2gm 24 ct (including making charges)

Happy to get corrected 🙂

Offline price is 5,989*1.03 = 6168. (Assuming they are not including making charges)

There's a profit 250...however it not on that higher profit..

+1

Probably should report it to Amazon and ICICI via relevant means.

Tanishq is the costliest jewellery maker, try to avoid them.

They price gold at their la la land price😂

I don't know bout that. Never purchased gold coin through ICICI apay card. But however I have purchased 24k gold pendants and received cashback everytime. I use my other ICICI card for such transactions.

P.S amazon page shows cashback for gold bar.but i have no clue if they credit or not

If you go to local jewellers they do charge a lot as majoori or making charges plus GST. You will not get gold at market rates at local jewellers.

I think that's what @shop4m was referring to

If you go to any local gold shop in Mumbai, then you won't get gold at market rates. I don't know bout other states though.

Bro, the deal is abt gold coin, not abt gold jewellery. There aren't any making charges for gold coins and bars.
When u try to sell these coins or bars in local markets, u will get either same (although very rarely) or 50-100 Rs lesser than market price on a 1 gm gold coin 24K, 999 ct.

No offense to you bro. But it doesn't happen that way in Mumbai atleast. They charge making charges not only on gold jewellery but also on gold coins plus GST. That's how it is here. I Wasn't trying to sound egoistic or all all knowing but this has been my experience shopping for gold in Mumbai. You won't get gold coins on market rates ever here. Sorry if I hurt you but I was just stating facts as far as Mumbai gold shops are concerned. Maybe other cities don't operate in such a fashion. I have no clue bout that.

Okay, no offence taken neways. its a healthy discussion here bro. I am all chill.

waise gst is chargeable on top of market price. so if u bought gold coin at 6K+3% gst = 6180, so when u try to sell the same coin on same day at any other shop, u shd get approx 5900-5950.
U wnt get GST part and around 50-100 lesser, now in case if u sell same coin on any other day when price has slightly dropped, say that day market price is 5900, then u wld get around 5800 or so.
This is what my experience is and i am surprised gold coin or bars are being charged making charges, which is unheard of. neways local jeweller might be trying to misguide u if he is saying making charges deduct honge on gold coins or bars.
