U mean it can’t have 5 hours playback i.e. it’s overestimated or 5 hours is too low?

I am considering buying a bluetooth portable speaker. Don’t know if it’s good. Though boat 235v2 headset experience is shit. But boat rockerz 400 is decent.

5 hours is very low for Bluetooth speakers. This category should have minimum 10-12 hours claimed battery time so that you could get 8-10 hours atleast in real time.
I am not fan or user of Boat, so I can’t comment on sound quality of recent boat products. I had bought Boat rugby in 2016 which was decent at that time, had good treble and bass responses.
I am not fan of bass heavy devices so boat hardly makes into my wishlist as they emphasis bass as mainstay of their products..

What are your recommended models then? I haven’t gone through bluetooth speakers much. There are literally too many to go through all.

It is quite tricky to recommend one BT speaker.. If you are on budget, options are mostly from Boat, Proteomics, etc. If you need more watts per price and room filling sound then these should suffice..
If you are into critical listening still budget zone check Anker/Soundcore, Tribute

If you are into bit more clean listening still budget zone check Anker/Soundcore, Tribit, Ultimate Ears and JBLs. I have experience only on Soundcore Motion+ among these, they produce clear sound with proper speaker units inside and very much VFM when bought on sale.
