If the business (profit) was the only thing in their mind, they should not celebrate National Cinema Day. They postponed something which maintained/maintains their livelihood. This all is a gimmick for making only profit.

Mind it only ticket is going to be cheaper, not the Popcorn or Cold Drinks 😜 which will cost you around 1k minimum.

my recommendation will be avatar movie , i missed the theatre experience last time it was released, while avatar 2 will release in 16 december , its will be nice chance to experience it in big screen
