Nope. It used to be on the first day of Navratri few years back. But they shifted it to amavasya cos of Flipkart and Amazon competition. Then since two years I guess they are doing it during pitrupaksha itself so as to gain one-upmanship. Whichever day Flipkart will announce start of bbd, Amazon's sale will be a day before and then they both will keep on fighting. The tentative dates will be mostly late first week or second week of October. All depends on flipkart.
