One Ganesh Chaturthi I went along with the procession into a pond. Being a child I didn't know it was deep. I tried to collect a lotus, Suddenly my feet were off ground. There was nobody around, luckily some adult full and round like Ganesh, came out of water , maybe he was having a dip. I grabbed his arm gasping for breath on one side. He realised and got me to shore blush

Jai Ganesh Maharaj pray

I care about my Dharti Mata every day throughout the year by doing useful things around me!

And celebrating my festival without any tension of such things 😁

We use clay idols for worship in our area.

Everyone is happy these days as their wait is over to meet their beloved god.

Sweets, decorations, gatherings, acts and dance competition tada lightings and obviously ton of food and prasadam to eat.

These days the fun is decreasing by the year but I wish for it to grow in an eco-friendly way. So that we flourish in all aspects of life.

Celebrations be it of any kind brings people closer and makes a society happy and prosperous.

I request adult dimers to share stories and truth with  kids so that they have interest in such activities and young dimers to find a way to preserve the actual art and warmth of these festivals for the future of the man kind.

We  Have a small  Ganeshji  murti  made  of Pital (  Brass )  Which  we worship  round the year . And   during Ganesh  festival  we  take the idol sitted on silver throne outside our house entry gate and then bring inside  house  chanting Ganpati Bappa Morya  and perform homely rituals  . Kheer and  modak  is made at home . Special Arti everyday is done during festival . On Visarjan day we just move the Gajananas  throne a little and pray to bless us all  round the year  and  also bless the entire nature , surroundings , and everyone  for wellbeing and prosperity.

Two years back i also handmade  ganpati  idol from our potted plants mud .But that pic gone as mobile changed.

    Happy Ganesh Chaturthi To All

One of the most well-known stories about Lord Ganesha is the tale of how he got his elephant head. It is said that Parvati, Ganesha's mother, created him from her own body and asked him to guard the entrance while she took a bath. When Lord Shiva, Ganesha's father, returned and was denied entry by the young boy, a fierce battle ensued in which Ganesha's head was severed.

To console Parvati, Lord Shiva instructed his followers to bring him the head of the first living being they encountered, which happened to be an elephant. Lord Shiva then attached the elephant's head to Ganesha's body, bringing him back to life and making him the unique deity we know today.

This story of Ganesha's origin symbolizes his wisdom, the importance of obedience and respect for parents, and his role as a remover of obstacles.
