Remember its a 14 incher so apart from a bit smaller display you’ll also miss numeric keypad. And its got only 256GB SSD as storage so unless your usage is minimum you should at least pick 500GB SSD or 256GB+1TBHDD.

Also recently Dell has got lots of negative reviews especially regarding after sales service. I’d suggest going with HP which you’ll also find within similar range with almost same specs.

And as suggested by OP, wait for sale for much better deal.
