Actually any item which has a expiry date in the same year, is already an expired or near to expire product that went to the company as leftover stock..
It went on the quality testing phase and again got labelled changed according to its remaining life, like if the product can be used for 1 more year or 6 months.
This way companies sell there expired or near to expire products.
All the BOGO and combo products in Dmart and stores like same, fall under same category.
I mean not exactly a loot but yaa if it can be stretched for another 6 month then steal price.
btw, do you know how much it cost to repackage (given it is printed and not stickered) of branded product by moving product back from retail store to manufacturer, do quality test and repackage with new expiry and send it back to retail store?
