For display, it has a HDMI port and you then connect any display device like monitor or TV to it. As like any smartphone you can use it with or without internet.

Edit – Saw the specs and it’s trash. This can’t function as a proper media player itself. Forget about using it as a plex server like MI TV Box..

If you are thinking to use internet via 4G, then you will have to use your phone’s hotspot and connect the box via wifi or use something like Jiofi

I don’t think mi box has 4k support or may be it doesn’t support Netflix or other apps in 4k. I was checking reviews on this comparison few months back and decided fire tv stick 4k to be thw best and reliable option.
