The offer is applicable for only select American Express Cardmembers. A Cardmember is eligible for

this offer only if he/she has received an offer communication directly from American Express through

any of its channels. In case a Cardmember did not receive any direct offer communication from

American Express but enrolls his/her Card account for the offer, the Card account will not be eligible

for the offer.

@WeCan

I have received the bonus points on term & motor insurance in 2021 and both were tracked. IMHO, all insurance spends will be considered as long as payment is done directly on the insurer's platform (although some have even got the points from other modes like Apay, PayTM etc).

I did some complex maths to help all of you.

If you have DCB and Amex both, then I think DCB will give you more benefit. Assume 20K insurance spend./

DCB: 5/150 * 20000 = 666 points = 333 rupees saving

Amex: 5/100 * 20000 = 400 1000 points = 100 250 rupees saving

Cool Cool

Wrong calculation Baba ji.

please review 😄

For 20k Spend on Amex card for insurance , you get 5 points per hundred. means 1000 reward points

That's some bad elementary mathematics right there. Age related impairments...

Yes, no base points would credit for insurance/utility payments.
