i astonished by how openly they are listing smartbuy points as offer value.

Yes the first criteria is ₹21 lakh ITR, or there is an easy way but not gauranteed one, put approx ₹10 lakh in fd in hdfc bank they will give you offer for the credit card within 6-10 months.
My front door neighbour has more than 10L in fd and he got the offer for infinia without any document required.
