Favorite move based on father – Kunwara Baap (1974) starring Mehmood
Me and my father had a deal- if i become something good (independent) in life then i can choose my life partner else my father will choose .
P. S- And i won
Matlab Nobita ko Suzuka mil gayi.
I received Suzuki max 100R Bike from my father in the year 2000.
Best gift I received from my father was a Bicycle when I was 12 years old as my school was around 1.5 kms from my home it was very essential to me.
Baghban – very heart touching movie – teaches us a lot of things
(1/5)Don’t be fear of possible challanges beforehand as there will always be ways to easily pass through any difficult situation/time and it will not feel as difficult as pre-thought.
5.Share something which he taught you and you still follow.
Always taught me to help others in need and stand up for the right. I still follow his teachings and speak out against injustice but unfortunately have to stop since the last 3 years as the political situation has become fascist.
Now just helping out the needy and flood victims.
i miss you
When i was a kid, my father frequently used to say ki “padhai kabhi khatm nahin hoti.” I would think ki lifetime taq school jaana padega. I stopped going to school long back, but as dad used to say, padhai abhi taq chal rahi hai, aur chalti rahegi.
My father always say- Mehnat Karne se Izzat milta hai.
T: Hardwork and Respect are proportional to each other.
My father used to wear a silver watch that was more than 8 years old…
I gifted him a mi band 4 on his birthday recently , he was overwhelmed to his heart but said iski kya zarurat thi , now he wears it every single day everywhere;)
My dad has never let me miss my mother. He has supported me always and has forgiven me countless times. He has made me grow in every aspect and everything I do for him all my life will not be enough to thank him. No gift would match this.
My father told me to learn saving money and I joined Desidime :wink
Before i write on these topics , i just wanna say that i am writing this comment just because “A MAN ONCE TAUGHT ME TO WRITE & Express myself”
So this line itself explains the value of him in my life….❣️
Still, lets move on to the contest-

No matter how big you become… Always be humble and down to earth
(This is really very true for my dad since he has actually done and achieved so much in his life, still he is damn simple and down to earth… He never shows off the things)
Best gift ever you received from your father or you gave something to him which he loved…
Dad had gifted me a Car (Chevrolet Beat) of which registry was done in my name. I still remember the occasion that I became a chartered accountant (CA) at my age of 21 years…
My dad loves to ride a bicycle. I had gifted him a nice new bicycle which was purchased by me from Flipkart and it was actually a surprise for him and he loved the same a lot
But honestly speaking, the best gift I have given to him was the news I gave to him over a call mentioning that I have cleared CA final exam in the very 1st attempt and now have become a qualified chartered accountant (CA) at just age of 21 years…
To be continued
That’s some boss level achievement! I managed to clear and land a govt job on my 9th try
it was my dad’s dream to be a CA and he tried as well but due to few reasons he could not complete it. And I am happy and proud that I completed his dream by becoming a CA in the first attempt

Honestly speaking there are plenty of such things… Few of them are as below:
1. Say a prayer (Vadani Kawal Gheta) before having food
2. Always respect and be polite with your elders (even if elders do mistakes)
3. Greediness will never make your wealth rather it will decrease your wealth
(Personally experienced it in stock market in my early days of life)
To be continued… (For the last time 🙈)
4. You always keep doing the good things with good intentions and in return you will always get the best
(After all, Karmas play a very important role in our life along with Desidime )
5. Do some long term Investments like buying shares of blue chip companies, buying golds etc. on few special occasions every year like birthdays, anniversary, festivals etc.
further he always says that redeem these long term investments only when you need them… Till the time you do not need them, don’t even worry to see their current market price…
And I actually follow this every year which ultimately resulted in making my wealth and portfolio quite healthy and good…🤗
And really many more things that he has taught me and I am positively following them and will keep following them in future as well…

@aniruddha.rathi Nice post there, CA in first attempt is some achievement. Wont delay to announce you as one of the winner. congrats.
Thank you very much dear @bumblefoot
This reminds me another few lessons and quotes given by my dad…
My dad always says that hard work always pays off (mehnat hamesha rang lati Hai)… And this is what has happened to me just now… Just a small example… I took almost half an hour or even more than that to reply for this contest… And honestly speaking whatever I have written in my 3-4 posts is 100% true and correct and nothing out of it is written like for showing off the things and to win the contest… He also always says that satyamev jayate… And the result is before all of you…
Lastly, I am thrilled and glad to let you all know that for the first time in my life, someone now will wish me as well as happy father’s day since I am blessed with a baby girl / Princess just before 2 months… 🤩

“Padhoge likhoge banoge nawab”
“kheloge kudoge hoge kharab”
No offence buddy. Its one of the quote of my father too. But………..
“It’s the nature of law”
He means “It’s law of nature” but he always say it wrong, now matter how many times I correct him about it…
Movie – There are many.
Even not remebered one movie. So my entry is for :-
Bollywood Movie – BOSS 2013
Also watched SOS1/SOS2 and liked them.
One movie i want to share here, unable to find name (Sathyaraj played as a father, who had a dream of becoming Best photographar but sacrifices his dream for his son, later his son got to know that and organizes a award show for his father. The chief guest of the show was played by Nassar). May be Raashi Khanna is also in this movie.
Can anyone tell the name of this movie.
??
I lost my father when I was young, but my fondest memory was when he used to buy me pista milkshake after taking me on a walk , every night.

Best gift ever you received from your father or you gave something to him which he loved.
I will thank my father for my reading habit, love and respect for language, curiosity, patience and knowledge on different subjects. What else I could ever ask for. I don’t think, I could ever be big enough to give my parents some gift. But I had bought my parents (both father and mother) shoes with my first salary. 🙂
Share your favourite movie or series based on father.
Taken, The Pursuit Of Happiness, Interstellar, Nobody, Shoot em Up, The Judge, Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade, Captain Fantastic, Back to the future, Family Man etc
Share some best moment which you spent with your father.
When I was a kid, I used to wait for my father every evening. We would go over a small culvert. There were couple of loving stray dogs. One particular dog was my favorite. I called her Dhali Kali (A childish way to call someone Black n White). My one finger would be safely nestled in my father’s grip. Another hand would hold a stick. And mouth of Dhali Kali would be attached to the end of it. How fast days went? I will give up all my earnings, all my stock profits to go back n relive those worry free days. Another incident is,“one Diwali we were kinda broke. It is kind of embarrassing to say something like that. Basically we didn’t have money for crackers. I remember I was sitting behind my father’s moped. A small part fell down. We had to search for it. It was fun.” Another favorite moment is the day my father bought me a new fountain pen (very cheap one). But I felt like amazing.
You asked for a moment, dozens of different moments popped up. Life is like that. And life should be lived in that way only.
Share something which he taught you and you still follow.
He taught me about integrity and character one day, when I was in 5th standard. And he also said that day that “you need to love whatever you choose to do.” I literally live by those words. Whatever I do, I am extremely passionate about it.
One thing which my father taught me and his father taught him is not to take loan for anything. “If you can’t afford something, then save for that and buy only when you can afford that completely with your own money.”
After reading so many articles and watching videos of so many financial experts and I realised that this principle teach us two things:
i) How not to loose money by paying interest
ii) If the need of that thing is not so strong, then till I will save that much money, the desire of that thing will be gone.
✅My Dad says – Imaandari se badhkar koi punji nhi, koi sampatti nhi. If you are honest, no one can unsettle you.
