2. Best ever gifts moment happened twice. He bought me 10 Vols. Set of Encyclopaedia Britannica. But it was second best. Best was the 2 local language booklets worth 2 rupees each, which my dad bought for me after buying me the expensive set of books.
Interesting story behind it: One day, he rang me just when I reached back home from my school. He asked me to come to our shop urgently. I skipped meal, and hurried reached there. What I saw was a Books Marketing/Seller Guy sitting there in the shop. When I asked my father about the reason for calling me so urgently, to my astonishment, He asked me to go through the collection of books he had. I said all are great. Then he took out the Encyclopedia Set from under the counter, and said that he bought it for me. I said that’s too expensive, but a very very useful one in terms of reference and summaries of knowledge & facts. But he insisted me to keep it, as that’s useful. He also asked me to take any other books too if I like. I selected Concise Oxford English Dictionary Latest Edition. The combined cost of both after discount was 2000 Rupees, which was very expensive, considering school books at that time were of 10-25 INR. I was so happy and thrilled, engrossed in the new purchase, that I skipped my Lunch and Supper both that day.
After a week, my father while on way back to home from shop, saw a cycle-rickshaw, on which were a thousands of booklets being sold by the puller. He stopped to check them out, and bought 2 booklets (only 2 types available) which were in local language. One was about Traditions and Science behind it, and another was Cultures and their Scientific Logic. The booklets were of 2 rupees each, but when my father handed them to me, I took them and finished reading both within half an hour, as they’re just 20-30 pages each. But the Myth-busting work that those booklets did, is useful for the lifetime for me.
3. Favorite Movie on Father: Jaanwar (Akshay Kumar starrer). It’s a complete package. Crime, Romance, Father/Mother Emotions, Hit Songs.
4. Best moments were reading the booklets he bought and discussing together. We used to play lots of Ludo Game too.
5. Apart from what I quoted in point no. 1, I follow his advice on using resources available to me judiciously, and not wasting them. I also follow him, not speaking while having meals.

1. Be a person with abundance of values and not abundance of money.
2. Gifted my father Poco X3 on his birthday. It was his first smartphone. He loved it.

4. Best time with father was during lockdown. Lockdown helped us build a strong bond which we neglected in our daily schedule earlier.
5. My father taught me cycling and I still cycle every week.
My Father taught me “When you wish good for others good things come back to you”
Think good for others and good things will happen to you. My dad did not like being at the receiving end at all simply because he only knew how to give and that too without any expectations. Sometimes his own family would be in awe at his selflessness and how he left no stone unturned to help and favor anyone who needed his support without expecting anything in return. He had a heart of gold with not an ounce of malice for anyone, not even those who may have wronged him, a quality which amazed his own family, every single time. My dad have always reinforced the importance of helping people in need, often giving at the expense of their own needs.
This rubbed onto me and I love the SMILE on a person face when i selflessly help them in life.
#fathersday My dad love me a lot yet he never shows it. 🌸❤ When I was in Grade 10, almost everyone had a good wristwatch. I had a decent one too, but wanted a branded one. (Can’t blame a teen)
I asked my dad, to which he replied “Achanak to leke de nahi skta, savings krni pdti hain Walt krlo, dilwa dunga”
I was very upset. Seeing me like this, he gifted me a costly watch in almost a week. I was very happy 😍Now, fast forward to today. I am in college, and earn a little money from preparing diet and workout plans for people.
I had not forgotten how my dad made me happy when I almost forced him to buy me a luxury he couldn’t afford at that time.
Also, he wore a normal Chinese watch, which I hated to see on his wrist.
I decided to save all my money, and buy him a watch too
When I had enough money, I went out, purchased a watch, and wrapped it up. I gifted it on his birthday
When he opened the wrap, and held the watch, could see his eyes. They were wet. He tried to control himself
He only said " Thanks beta
But what he said next made me almost cry.
He said " Itni mehengi ghadi ka mai kya karunga?
Tune bhi kitne saal se koi nayi ghadi nahi. Tu yeh wali rkh le, mal teri pehen liya krunga"😭 And trust me, I almost cried. But I persuaded him to keep his watch.
And till date, whenever I see him wearing that watch i feel happy n Blessed that i have the worlds best father ❤ ilysm dad!!!!! My papa the best person of world and a man of matchless MODESTY and REFINEMENT is my INSPIRATION. 👨👩👧 Mentioning a long story of past when I was in class 7th. On one of our trip to Delhi we were sitting in the park area in the back part of Qutub minar.🍁🍂🍃 When me,papa and mummy were resting there in the shade we observed that the squirrels 🐿️ there were fearless and approached humans for taking food. 🌰 Looking at those tiny squirrels moving around so fast I was totally terrified and I resisted moving forward. Complaining and sobbing out of fright 😨 I asked papa if we could go and sit somewhere else. My father who is a GREAT ANIMAL LOVER ❤️ and an ADMIRER OF NATURE 🌿 caressed my head with love and asked me not to be afraid of them. He showed me how the squirrels were harmless and pretty cute creatures, innocent enough to steal someones heart away!! Papa took some snacks on his palm and offered those squirrels and they happily ate all of it, he showed me how to do it and I followed what he said. I overcame my fear and joined papa to feed the squirrels. As always my papa proved to be my #SuperDad and took away from me the reason of being afraid from those squirrels.
