They are better choices if you have a 4K TV or planning to buy one in the near future. Don't buy them for more processing power, because all the 4 current models run very similar in day to day usage.

My Fire tv stick keeps on kind of hanging, remote keeps of disconnected tried formatting but still the same. It's a 1+ year old though but not happy with performance nowadays, is there a better stick or android TV?

They normally charge around 2000 just for the remote. So it's now cheaper to just buy the Firestick Lite instead of the remote.

I have received the 3rd gen stick and setup done today. I am using Samsung 5 series TV and the optical cable is connected with the Boat home theatre sound bar. I am getting only stereo/PCM audio output while streaming amazon prime video and not getting Dolby audio. 😌
Does anybody faces a similar issue, please guide me.
