Flat Rs. 100 cashback for online payment through HDFC Bank debit cards on select HDFC Bank SmartHub Education institutes.
Customer will be eligible to earn maximum Cashback point’s equivalent to Rs.100/- Maximum twice for the said promotional Cashback offer. Offer valid from 15 October’20 to 31 December, 2020.
Minimum payment amount eligible for cashback is Rs 10000 in a calendar month. Offer will be applicable only on domestic on-line onus transactions.
Offline Payment modes, Smartbuy transactions, Wallet Load transactions (Including Payzapp Wallet Load) will not be considered eligible for cashback.
This offer is valid only on Payments done to Education institutes on Smarthub PG direct relationships through HDFC Bank SmartHub platform during the offer period mentioned in the offer communication.
Eligible Cashback points will be posted within 90 days from 31st Dec 2020 which will be the offer end date as the offer benefit is being provided for combined 3 months – October’20, November’20 and December’20 on best effort basis.
Cashback would be posted in the form of Cashback points. Customer will need to redeem these Cashback points by logging into Net Banking. Every 1 Cashback Point is equal to Re.1.
The cashback points accumulated can be redeemed as below:
Through NetBanking: Cards> Debit Cards > Enquire> CashBack Enquiry and Redemption> Account Number> Continue> Input the CashBack amount

2 working days post request for redemption of Cashback points, the equivalent amount shall be credited to the customer primary account Linked to the Debit Card only

Promotional Cashback points earned will be valid for redemption for 3 months from cashback posting month, post which the same will expire. For example cash back points posted in the month of December’20 will be valid for redemption till 31st March 2021 post which on 1st April 2021 these points will expire.
Cashback will only be posted for live accounts. Customers closing their accounts before fulfillment date of cashback will not be eligible for cashback.
Any person availing this offer shall be deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions.
Any Tax, service charge or other charges levied with regards to the Promotional Cashback Offer, may be borne by the Debit Card holder / winner.
HDFC Bank Debit Cardholders are not bound in any way to participate in this offer. Any participation is voluntary and the offer is being made purely on a ‘best effort’ basis.
Any queries/ complaints regarding the offer to be raised only after the end of TAT for cashback posting of 90 days. Post this, the Bank will not entertain any correspondence or communication regarding this Program from the cardholders.
Any tax, service charge, or other charges levied with regards to the Promotional Cashback Offer, may be borne by the Debit Card holder/winner.
Following purchases or payments done using HDFC Bank Debit Card shall not be considered for the promotional Cashback offer -

1. Investment/Insurance products like but not limited to Insurance, Mutual Funds, Bonds, stocks, options & derivatives etc.
2. Loading of wallets / e-wallets like but not limited to PayTm, HDFC PayZapp, Google Pay, Amazon Pay etc. or Payments through wallets
3. Credit card bill payments.
4. International transactions. I.e. Non INR transactions both online and POS or INR transactions done in country other than India.
5. Cash on Delivery.
6. Forex booking, Betting and Gambling based transactions.
7. Funds transfer to another account using Debit Card.
8. Any fraudulent transaction.

This offer is non-encashable, not extendable, and non-negotiable.
This offer is valid for Indian residents and citizens only.
All valid transactions will be eligible for the offer. HDFC Bank will not be responsible for invalid transactions.
To be eligible for the offer, Cardholder is required to satisfy the condition mentioned in the offer post receipt of the communication.

HDFC Bank shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever or for any personal injury that may be suffered, by a HDFC Bank Debit Card member, directly or indirectly, by use or non-use of products/services availed of under this offer
HDFC Bank reserves the right at any time, without prior notice to add, alter, modify, change or vary all or any of these Terms and Conditions or to replace wholly or in part, the above offer by another offer whether similar to above or not, or to withdraw it altogether. In the event of any inconsistency between these terms and conditions and any brochures, marketing or promotional materials relating to the promotion, these terms and conditions shall prevail.
All decisions by HDFC Bank regarding selection of winners shall be final and binding. No correspondence will be entertained in this connection.
HDFC Bank is not liable for any delay, non-delivery, or shortfall or deficiency or unsatisfactory service/product provided by any participating parties/sponsors.
Nothing contained herein shall prejudice or affect the terms and conditions of the Account holder/ Card member Agreement applicable to the account of those mentioned.
This offer is non-transferable to any other person.
Any Government levies / taxes like Sales Tax, TDS, gift tax, road tax, any Local Tax etc. arising out of the same will be borne by the HDFC Bank Debit card customer.
