Gillette Men Fusion5 Premium Gift Set

Gillette products quality has dropped massively. I have used their products for decades, from sensor excel, mach 3 to fusion series and now found out, it's not at all worth the salt or price.

Gillette products only sell because of their super aggressive marketing.

As a mechanical engg, i can figure out issue with product.

They might have increased sharpness of blades and number of blades in a cartridge but thickness of blades has dropped substantially. And this thickness gives blade its strength, like any other machining tool.

No matter what the sharpness is, due to poor thickness, blades  wear out far sooner than they should.

Also all such disposable cartridges is stupid design. Creates lot of garbage which is extremely hard to dispose off since blades can cut anybody, particularly garbage handlers or animals, birds who try to scavenge food out of garbage. Really pathetic product, ecologically and economically.

I shifted to electric shavers since 3 yrs and couldn't be happier. Blades haven't worn out, saving money and give shave far closer than disposable overpriced junk. Takes lot less efforts too.
