Pixel 7a will be announced on May 10 and will probably have some launch day offers, including on exchange. At least last year the Pixel 6a was available for less than 30k at launch by exchanging an old phone like Pixel 3a. Might not make much sense to go for the 6a at this price considering they have been dumping it for $250 or less in the US.

Pixel 7a will be around 40k without offers, those who are expecting it for less will be disappointed.

Take care of your phone if want to use Pixel in India, believe me it's experience is beyond your expectation.
6 GB RAM is questionable for someone who wants to keep this phone for next 2-3 years.
