HDFC Bank is giving Lifetime Free Infinia & Diners Black Upgrades

Lifetime free confirm? Or only 1st year free?

For me it’s clearly written on upgrade page.. only 1st year free.

Anyhow had been chasing them to convert ky regalia to millenia, they only reversed the annual fee but i wanted change of card so that i dont need to request them for reversal of annual fee.
Thanks hopefully it’s ltf, applied for upgrade.

I have a diners black card.. Was not able to spend 5L last year (spent 3.5L)
They charged 10k card fee, will they be willing to waive off the annual charges considering the pandemic situation

for me showing diner club privilege intl card for upgrading my club miles, it is showing annual fee as 0. That means it is ltf card or only 1 year?

Lifetime Free is not applicable on Cobranded Cards (Jet/ Times/ Snapdeal), Diners Card (Diners Black and Diners ClubMiles) and Infinia Card. . -Preethi”

HDFC Bank is not taking new applications for credit card as of now according to latest regulation by RBI.

This is the Note section on the Upgrade page:

The Reward Points you have accrued in your existing credit card will be transferred to your new credit card account as per the Reward point grid applicable on the new card thereby the value of the Reward point remains the same. * Upgrade to Infinia Credit card : No annual membership fee would be charged on the first year. From second year onwards Annual Membership fee of Rs. 10,000 +ST would be applicable. For Spends of Rs.8,00,000 and above in a year, subsequent year’s annual membership fee will be waived off.*
Upgrade to Regalia Credit card : No annual membership fee would be charged on the first year. From second year onwards Annual Membership fee of Rs. 2,500 +ST would be applicable. For Spends of Rs.3,00,000 and above in a year, subsequent year’s annual membership fee will be waived off.

They are now giving even regalia cards lifetime free.. I got one recently. They called me and asked to raise a request.

If you have more than one bank then no need to upgrade.. because you may spend your money depends on offer given other bank card..hence you may not use all benefits from premium cards

Wife works at HDFC. I just talked to her and she says this offer is legit and valid only till today. This upgrade also offers Lifestyle 500rs voucher as well. From tomorrow it would be 1year free only it seems.

Can someone mention the series of range like which is better regalia n millenia n all that?

HDFC is trying hard to revive the losses after RBI slammed ban on their retail and sales of credit cards.

Talked with RM+PhoneBanking, both confirmed it’s LTF for LTF customers, if it’s written as Annual membership fee is 0 then it will be LTF otherwise it would have been written as first year free.

Upgraded 2 of my cards to infinia intl and diners milennia. Did not have much rewards .. so reward devaluation won’t effect me much.

Issuance of credit card of HDFC commenced?

The NOTE section below is very confusing, what if we are charged 10k fees from next year.

Got an upgrade from Regalia to Diners Black. 0 Annual fee it said. I have a screenshot for future correspondence too. Waiting for my upgraded card to arrive!
Diners Black on normal spends is about 3.3% cashback – is that about right? And 33% on 10x partners which list is disappointing now – only Ola might be useful in future. Airline transfer partners also have reduced but KrisFlyer is still there.

Is there any issuance fee or any other fee like low usage fee by upgrading to Regalia.
