Don’t spend. HDFC drama starts once its time for fulfilment of the offer. They start telling its commercial transaction. They will also deduct your points earned and threaten to block the card. All these things happen even after you pay the entire dues. I think HDFC wants you to spend huge money and then default on payment so that they can earn from you. If you promptly pay back HDFC will start their usual drama.

It’s an addiction. First they lure you to spend more by sending such offers and later they report you to IT department for spending 10+ lakhs within 1 financial year. My advise is to stay away from such offers for meagre 3-5% cashback in form of AGC unless your spends are genuine and file good amount of ITR every year to back up your earnings..
