Can be used for anything which coconut oil is used for.. EXCEPT (I would not use it for) cooking.
Since in India, anything labelled as cooking oil/ edible use oil.. draws less taxes than the cosmetic use oils.. random products are sold and mis-sold as foodgrade.
But that is just my view. (I would not have my family or close ones ingest it, even if given to us for free.)
