What ever it is, it will not work on 4G network in india…..we have 2300MHz band in india for 4G (airtel 4G currently) …….2300MHz is not mentioned in specifications……3G on 2100MHz in india.

Update: There’s been some question as to whether this bantam device would support only basic HSPA or HSPA+, so we reached out to HP and AT&T for clarification. Both outfits were adamant that the Veer 4G’s hardware would indeed support HSPA+ in areas that have upgraded cell towers. AT&T affirmed that “the Veer has HSDPA Cat 10, which is HSPA+,” while Palm said, “the Veer supports HSDPA Cat 10 and HSUPA Cat 6. For reference, this is the same for the Motorola Atrix 4G and HTC Inspire 4G both currently available from AT&T.” Of course, we all know that not all 4G is created equal, and it seems it’s becoming increasingly clear that all HSPA+ isn’t either as well.

It may be the good point because the frequency of airtel 4g is not in specs but can’t say everything right now because any other company may work in different frequencies…. !! Here in India, Telecom Operators have got BWA/4G soectrum in 2300MHz or 2.3GHz band. So before buying any 4G device say USB Dongle or Tab, do check whether it has support to 2300MHz/2.3GHz band or not.

No 4G phones with support to LTE 2300MHz band is available as of now in India.

List of 4G US Dongles:

1. Nokia Siemens LTE-7210: Downlink/Uplink Speed- 102Mbps/50Mbps Band Supported- 2300/2600 MHz. Availability in India- With 4G launch. Price: Not known.
