High refresh rate displays are usually, especially if IPS, of higher quality than their basic counterparts.

P.S. I couldn’t find any details about the CPU in Croma.

Significant difference between the two. Easily apparent while scrolling but also while navigating through the UI. Of course 144Hz can use up more power.

Display quality in terms of brightness, colour space cover etc. Not guaranteed to be better but in several reviews I have seen HRR panels to be of better quality than the basic offerings.

For gaming apps, higher refresh rate is good right?

Yes provided the GPU can handle the additional load with or without Adaptive Refresh to help out. Here the GTX 1650 is just too weak.

60Hz is OK but 120Hz is definitely smoother. Thanks to the 120Hz display in the Redmi Note 10 Pro for ex. scrolling in image-heavy webpages is smoother despite the weaker SD732G compared to SD845 in my Poco F1 @ 60Hz. Although this might not be a relevant to Windows as scrolling is jitter free in webpages even in 8th gen. quad cores. I guess HRR is more necessary in Android than Windows.

@LIMBO paji made very good points about high refresh rate but considering around 2.5k difference in both models after discount should one go for 60hz or go for 144hz even if usage will be non gaming?
also suggest ssd to be added in any of the models atleast 500gb?

@kukdookoo I have only ever seen pc gamers giving 144Hz monitors much importance along side graphics card & processor so it all comes down to how much 2.5k extra is worth to you. For ssd you can go with, assuming it is m.2 nvme ssd, WD Blue SN570 NVMe 500GB SSD.

That is something you need to check from reviews. The second link(on flipkart) has comments that says the secondary storage is expendable via 2.5" sata ssd.
