Most of these being sold are pure fakes. I have tried ordering multiple times but all turned out to be fake. Packing is so good that no one can tell its not original.Ā
Only way to check is if you put the powder in water, it should dissolve quickly which lot of bubbles (effervescence/fizz). It should release vinegar type smell.
Frankly speaking, the detergent we use itself has descaling properties. So descaler is required only where water quality is extremely bad.

Buy this, call ifb service guy, he will taste it and say "it's fake, it's salt. Buy from me, I have genuine". Even if it is genuine that you got from elsewhere.

Majority of them are fakes. I literally got salt inside the packets when ordered from Flipkart. Order from IFB website or use Surf Excel imported one from Amazon.

Yeah. Don't buy these. I have used Bosch's and it's costly but you will have to use them once every 3 months and they are better but costs more
