No offense t OP but if u buy offline ; you can easily negotiate 10% discount. n IFFCO provides 10% discount on health insurance if u have two wheeler insurance with them………..!!

there is one more thing.. insurance bought online? you might face few difficulties in case of claim, have a friend who faced this issue for his car.. so better bargain with public/private insurance companies offline by phone(you can easily get contacts from google)
tip from my friend.. dont buy from agent, walk in to office …you can save few bucks

Its a detariff market for general insurance. Every make and model have different discount variations over tariff rate. Like if tariff rate is 100 , in case of Bmw audi you get 60 percent discount on tariff rates same if you go maruti and hyundai you will get 40 to 50 percent based on type of make model and year of manufacture . Hence 5%more on 2 wheeler in segment with premium range of 1k to 2k max disc would be 30-50 rs.
I know this might not be a top selling item, but getting promo code for insurance.. isn’t it rare ?
