.
Pros 🥂 :
• Zero Balance Account (in true sense if you don't need Physical Card)
• 3% earning on Top 3 Brands that we choose
• No Forex Charges* (for Tier 3)
• With Tier 3, Almost all charges are nil!
• 0.5% earning on other spends
(Spends on the following merchant categories do not earn any INDIE Gems earning: Fuel, Government Payments, Insurance, Mutual Funds, Rent Payment, Wallet Upload, Utility Payments, Credit Card bill payments.)
• MAJOR PRO- Virtual Disposable Debit Cards! very interesting feature.
• Super OTP (where you can get OTP via App)
• IndusInd Brand (oldest bank in India) and Account number is easy to remember (18xxxxxxxxx) your mobile number.
• Great as a Backup Account or FD Account (very good rates)
.
Cons 💀:
• App Buggy af (Looks Sad overall just like IndusInd App)
• Physical Card isn't offered right away (which is good and bad depending)
• App and service is not at all refined! Transaction SMS don't come sometimes, and payment gateway fails sometimes too! Luckily only got 1 failed transaction so far
• No Tier Upgrade notification or Info
(Initial funding of 50k automatically upgrades you to Tier 3, rather than waiting for 1500 worth reward earning..but its been more than 24hours and no communication regarding this!)
• Credit Line feature- maybe just me, but its borrow plan with interest, I'm not big fan of these. Plus seems limited to very exclusive customers.
• No referrals for existing users of IndusInd
• Reward system looks very weak, And users complain it takes lot of time to credit gems.
• Customer Support is 💩

What is the referral benifits I will get if use your referral?
By old users you mean saving account or credit card account or both?
stoptomove wrote:Truly Zero Charges if you upgrade to Highest Tier with Initial Funding..
So I can go for a zero balance saving account and it's truly zero balance without any charges.
What is the referral benifits I will get if use your referral?
By old users you mean saving account or credit card account or both?
Else there are charges for Card, Forex, etc etc...
For existing IndusInd Savings Customer (i think), Won't get any referral bonus on join...
(not missing out on much honestly)
3% cb on which brands?

Physical debit card mandatory?
Physical Card is optional to apply (which is great to have an option)
Interesting Feature- Disposable Virtual Debit Cards

Itani mehanat aur research ke bad kahata hai ki " aap ka to pahale se account hai, fir milenge"
stoptomove wrote:This is in partnership with 'Paytm Money Demat'
What is this for ?
"Integrated Demat account "
Is it chargeble?
This was mentioned in FAQ:
"Disclaimer: Charges are subject to change from time to time. For a detailed and update list of charges, please visit https://www.paytmmoney.com/stocks/p...ng
For any other queries, you can reach out to Paytm executives for support under the Help section in Equity Funds module"

T&C are same as Savings Account under IndusIND...
Yes, RBI Insured since its a Bank Account regd under IndusIND...Not just a Virtual Account.
Not sure about SMS Charges, but Tier 3 has NIL Charges on all Categories

You can choose 3 Brands,
Selections like Flipkart, Amazon, Jiomart, Swiggy etc (suggested by them)
And for these transactions, you get upto 3% Cashback as gems...
(3% is for Tier 3)
(1 gem= 1 rs)
Also, You can only change these categories after about a month..
(think on this like OneCard's 5x - top 3 categories get 5x)

🔼 Unique Features of Indie App Card
Jupiter & Fi also started this way . Now introduced DC AMC, Other charges, MAB , Reward devaluation. In-die is Fi-Jupiter in making.
can money be added in this account via net banking and debit card same as any other IndusInd account?

Hi did u get confirmation about Tier 3 account. & how to do that initial funding? What are the options like DC Netbanking etc?
masumshah59838 wrote:There wasn't any confirmation really...Hi did u get confirmation about Tier 3 account. & how to do that initial funding? What are the options like DC Netbanking etc?
There is very few communication from Bank,
Customer Support told wait atleast 72hrs for Upgrade...I just kept checking Rewards page for updates.
Initial Funding can be done using DC, UPI, NB

After tier upgrade, we can block current free card and Apply for Signature DCard

Just few hours ago, They sent mail from Bank saying Physical Card is on the way via Bluedart 🤞
masumshah59838 wrote:Speaking Of:Hi did u get confirmation about Tier 3 account. & how to do that initial funding? What are the options like DC Netbanking etc?
Just received this email, few mins ago

(you have option to choose NO Number Variant, basically blank card, no privacy concern)
