This is an awesome specs phone. Almost bought it until they revealed Indian model lacks NFC but Chinese model (iQOO Neo 7 Racing Edition) has got NFC. So due to UPI all Chinese crappers omit NFC in Indian phones. Not ok. Eventually went with Samsung.
Where/why do you need NFC you might ask? In GPay! I can directly store credit cards in GPay with NFC feature present and pay via CC by scanning Bharat QR code or tap to pay. Cred also has it. So it increases use of my CCs.

Bharat QR is almost impossible to find, very rare. Luckily my daily grocery and fresh food shop has it. UPI QR is fairly common. And small merchants are never likely to get POS machines or contactless payments so unless NPCI allows UPI linking with Visa/MC, RuPay has an (unfair) advantage here.

Big ques will Visa/MC allow to linking with UPI ?
Because CC link UPI is a marketing gimmick. UPI direct link with credit account not RuPay credit card. In short its a dual network payment method.
UPI has its own settlement system, MDR charges etc.
If Visa/MC will allow to linking with UPI then Visa/MC will lose market share. Many people will use UPI payment mode.
It's a do or die situation for visa/MC.
