Jio Introduces New Yearly Plan. Rs.2999 for 2.5GB/Day + UL Calls + 100SMS/Day for 365 Days
Just found out in App that Jio has brought a new 365 days plan @ Rs.2,999.00 offering following benefits.
Plan visible in 20% JioMart Maha cashback tab only and not other sections so maybe limited period offer.
1. Data- 2.5GB/day thereafter unlimited @ 64 Kbps. Total- 912.50GB
2. UL Loc/STD/Roaming Calls.
3. 100 SMS/day.
You can use Jiomart cashback upto max. 599.80 and get the same at Rs.2399.20.
Seems like Jio is in no mood to cut the competition. So this 250/month plan.
Compared with 2879 Plan which offers 2GB/day, this plan will suit most as 182.5GB extra data for Rs.120 more

Why nobody offer 1gb yearly plan
See giving away Data is almost next to nothing for these operators, they just want to make sure, we give value to the data available, thats why there are limits, low and high.
Paying 3k a year is ₹230 per 28 days. Since many have wifi (3.3TB of data @ ₹470 per 30 days), 2.5gb data/day might no longer bring in earthquakes at any offices.
Update: the plan is available in Voucher section also. So if you don’t want to recharge now and use it at later date or for other numbers buy voucher. Bought 4 with CC offer of 1000 voucher of choice on 10k spend by hdfc.
