For using Rs 200 coupon one has to shop at least Rs 5000 or above. Cashback received by the Eligible Subscriber shall be redeemed in the following manner: Each coupon provided under the Cashback, can be redeemed by the Eligible Subscriber at any Reliance Digital Store with a minimum cart value of Rs.5000/- on any item sold by Reliance Digital Store except such items determined by RRL and listed in the annexure below. No two coupons received by the Eligible Subscriber can be redeemed together. Cashback coupons if unredeemed will expire on 31st December, 2018.
Introduction of these plan means jio is planning to increase the rates of other plans.
All in all, stick to 399 plan which is cheaper and if they are going to hike plan costs you can recharge in advance for 4 or even more times using your existing main balance…

BSNL has 181 day plan for 999, 3.7GB data/day.. So this is cheaper than that as well. Anyone know off any discounts to use with BSNL?
I never took jio .. infact I applied aadhar only very recently and aadhar updated my IDEA & AIRTEL prepaid sims (not go to store- just via SMS ) my daughter & sister has jio- call quality is very bad always- even though IDEA is ok. airtel call quality is best always..In internet also I find airtel slightly faring better than IDEA connectivity/speedwise. now that both voda+idea combo and airtel almost has matched Jio- no need to put with shoody service of JIO.
but the slightly poor like the “rs 1499 JIO feature phone” with Rs 49 /month unlimited talking plan and not to worry about call costs. all my conjuse cousins who use to give miss call only are now talking to me from their phone for hours with out worrying about call cost debit. these people dont use data. call +sms @ Rs 49 a month is a groundbreaking plan for the poor/old /finacially constrained.
JIO is LTE.. 4G Digital not analogue so call quality will always be superb. What you mean is not call quality but availability. Since their signal travels shorter distances and coverage is not available everywhere.. Last night I was downloading at 5 MBytes/sec while BSNL was stuck at under 10KBytes.. Airtel and Idea never gets those speeds but they do get to 1 or 2 megabyte speeds.. The problem with them is greed mostly.. idea just charges me for sim change, each time the phone connects to their tower, subscribing me to useless gimmicks I never choose etc.. I keep them around just in case but I have to recharge them even if never used every few months because money just disappears. None of them have ever given me any extras or even refunded the money they stole..
Jio on the other hand gave us almost free internet and better than hifi audio calls and a lot of freebies without even asking like the 10GB free data many times.. I will never support aitrtel or idea. I will use them when I have no choice. If not for Jio you would never EVER have usable internet from these scammers. What have they been doing for the last decade???? Thats right.. rs10 for 1KByte of data.. rs1000 for 1000MB of data when they have a super special.. No one will ever match Jio. We will see in a few years how Jio is.. But they seem to want to run a business and not a place to fleece the customers.. and Jio seems to have stabilized prices for now. So next will be value added services..
Oh yea did I mention Jio actually works? I dont mean you just pick it up and make a call and call that working, I mean you can mix and match plans activate multiple plans and addons and subscribe to things and stuff and they will work. If you try that with anyone else you will find major problems in your service. I am impressed how in 2 years they have all these apps and services and infrastructure up and running from nothing.
