Not that fast coz I have done recharge till Nov 2021 along with that I have double data benefit on my handset for that recharge….apart from that I will pray if this IUC charges reduced to zero.
Even earlier we could recharge thru main balance. I used to load main balance during offers and recharge when have sufficient money in main balance.

I keep all 4. Airtel postpaid as primary, Jio as secondary, Voda for bank sms and financial transactions and BSNL for those locations where nothing else works.
See even in rural areas still the net speed is very fast for airtel but jio sucks. You can check but can’t say about metros.well you have flexibility but still airtel data speed is excellent but CC services are pathetic . Everything from one Operator isn’t possible in india
As per jio customer care:
The Top Up balance (Monetary Balance) can only be utilized to recharge a 4G Data Voucher Pack/IR/ISD pack and a NO IUC Voice Plans only.
You will not be able to recharge a Top Up Pack or a Bundle Recharge of recharge Plan + Top Up Pack using the available Top Up balance.
Main balance option is showing while recharge but getting error during payment
Its getting applied only for new plans i think… Not for less amount plans… Why? Everyone pls compliant about this… So that they ll give option for less amount also
Pre-Jio there was heavy competition resulting in… 1GB data for an entire month! I now use up thrice that in a single day while watching a Test match. And still pay less than half. Plus UL calls/SMS. So why fear Jio’s monopoly unless its privacy-related?
P.S. I stopped using my Jio SIM soon after their commercial launch. I had lots of balance in my other operators SIMs…

Activating monthly unlimited plans using main balance is not possible in Airtel since last few months.
Jio will do the same?
Packs which include additional IUC recharge, main balance won’t be available for them. Also vouchers can not be used with main balance.
