This Ryzen processor 3200U is better than Intel core i3 9th generation. It’s great.

Excellent deal.

I would suggest to opt for SSD…you would feel the difference

Ryzen 3200U is a decent chip. Better integrated graphics than Intel. Overall there won’t be any issues.

I’ll give you a tip. I am currently using a 2nd Gen Intel processor (Samsung RV518 laptop bought in January 2012). The only way I could still use it is because of an SSD. It is very fast. I use it for light gaming and work.

The secret sauce is an SSD.

The current laptop does not have an SSD. So that is a problem. But overall, the processor is excellent.

The laptop will work fine without an SSD. It will just be a bit slower.

You can remove the existing 1 TB hard disk and replace it with a 500 GB SSD.

Some higher end laptops have an extra M.2 slot for additional hard disk, but this entry level laptop does not seem to have one. So, removing original hard disk is the only way.

That’s why it’s better to buy a laptop which already has an SSD. But without it also it will be fine.
