It is worth every penny, except the battery life there are no drawbacks. Battery life will trouble you, but it supports fast charging and wireless charging too. Also it is IP68 Certified water and dust resistant.

I have personally used LG g7 128gb version for about an year(purchased it during last BBD sale), gem of a phone in all things except battery.
Would easily recommend it over any other mid ranger.
i don’t feel the need to change my phone this year hoping there is a similar deal for g8/v50 next year

About Samsung/Apple/Pixel, they care about their Brand Value a lot
and LG is dying, they lost their market in several regions so they are trying something new.. but it is too late (not too late as HTC)
Just Google..there are brands which just prefer to burn their Million$ merchandise over selling them at a discount
In the case of electronics, they just recycle or use eBay.com (Only US) to dump the new ones as manufacturer refurbished at an attractive price
That being said, this phone is a good deal for the price (16200 with bank discount)

Having used both LG G4 and G6 before my current Samsung s9 plus, I will never recommend an LG to anyone. The g4 was a beast of a phone and had an amazing camera for the time and the software was also at par with the times. But just after a year of owning, out of warranty it got the boot loop issue, and died. Tons of lg phones have this issue and lg had to compensate buyers in the US for this, but no such protection in India. Its still lying in my desk drawer, dead. I got the lg g6 after that and the software on it was just terrible. While xiaomi oneplus and most other oems push out updates regularly or atleast take care to fix bugs, lg does no such thing. The interface was laggy, ugly and featureless. Even being a flagship is update would never be provided on promised times. The battery life was pathetic that I had to always had to put it on low brightness and battery saver and carry a power bank. To top it all this phone too developed hardware issues
I got the dreaded moisture detected in USB port and replaced the charging port and motherboard in warranty. They damaged the paint on the back panel when they repaired and refused to change it saying it was in their terms and conditions. And the issue came back again in 2 months. Even though it was still in warranty, I exchanged it on Flipkart without waiting to fix it, to get whatever value I could salvage. In short I would never ever recommend an LG phone to anyone. Even though you get a flagship at mid level prices, the overall experience would be subpar. Only saving graze would be the camera, which has been always flagship. But even midrangers have amazing camera these days.

Absolutely fine. Its like new. Zero dent nd scratches.
In their review Anandtech found that the display is unique in being very power efficient at high brightness levels but at low brightness its power usage is inexplicably high. This makes it great for outdoors not so much indoors. Color accuracy-wise one of the worst devices in recent years. And while performance is still good its one of the least snappiest SD845 devices around.
Don’t know why are people trying to highlight the -ves of this phone. Anyone buying this phone would have gone through all the reviews and still they buy it because of the price it is being sold. No one is going to buy it for the regular price knowing its cons.

Ordered it last tuesday. The same old story of wishmaster rejecting my old phone because it had scratches and so many other reasons not mentioned in the exchange policy. So the order has been cancelled. Phew
Got the phone, excellent screen almost looks like an amoled. I exchanged my Samsung s7 edge. And got it for 7000rs only. Battery last for more then a day. I am happy overall
