Can we buy this despite heating issues by some reviewers. I think i7 laptops have these issues.
if battery life is more than 10 hours , i will prefer this over lenovo thinkpad.
I dont know why amazon is reducing its price constantly from 93k to 80k.
daal me kuch kaal to nahi😊😊
@getready What is your opinion about "Samsung Galaxy Book2 Pro 360"? By taking this my Samsung ecosystem will be completed but if it is not worth the money then will look for HP Spectre 360 or LG Gram.
basantmo wrote:Heating issues are overrated. Reviewers (user) often mention about these even if they the laptop body feels moderately hot. But in reality, even with medium-heavy tasks the body/cpu temps won't cross 50c (For accurate info, you can check temps with softwares like hwinfo)Can we buy this despite heating issues by some reviewers. No idea about thinkpad but like i said before, battery life u get with 2022 gram is more than many competitors (light weight laptops with 12th gen i5/i7 chips). If the performance feels adequate you can go with "Low" thermal profile which should increase battery life by some margi
I dont know why amazon is reducing its price constantly from 93k to 80k.Felt same initially but Amazon is known to decrease prices last day/two of the sales (probably to increase sale revenue). Even Flipkart did this during BBD

Looks good. Shortcomings are vastly similar to this LG Gram (Especially related to performance and Cooling). i5 and i7 12th gen P chips are a bit much (Even though brand limited PBP to 20W instead of default 28W) for Ultra silm/light weight laptops and for lesser heat and noise you got to use a low power/thermal mode
Display is Amoled (400nits).. and samsung doesn't seem to be using any burn-in prevention tech so follow certain precautions (like always hide taskbar, screen-saver mode, avoid static images for long durations) to delay it. There are two m.2 SSD slots but RAM is soldered (Prefer 16GB variant). Laptops are a new thing for samsung here but they've been selling them for quite a while overseas and service centers are everywhere
I would recommend asus zenbook s 13 OLED 6600u variant & hp envy x360 2022 i7 variant. Asus has rare 6000 series processor suitable for ultrabook & high quality finish & touchscreen OLED & cutting edge specs & vgood battery life especially for videos. HP envy x360 i7 variant is also no compromise laptop which not only future proof specs for 4-5 yes with touchscreen OLED also has good battery due to U series chip.
If you have old laptop, then there are very good exchange offers in Flipkart.
I bought zenbook s13 OLED in exchange for 72.7k. It's to be delivered today. For me it's a no brainer deal at that price. No laptop comes close to it for my needs(very similar to yours).
LG Gram is good deal for its current deal price but as i said when i checked it in croma i didn't like it's build quality at all. It was all like plastic to me.

I don't want to go with Asus , I just don't like the brand (personal choice). I know laptops are very good and reliable of Asus.
If you see the Samsung corporate pricing again for that price pls let me know as 79k is a loot , same price as that of US.
LG Gram will now not prefer and also it doesn't have touch. Will go with HP envy or spectre if not Samsung.
But for sure give your review for zenbook once you receive it , maybe I will end up purchasing that only at the end.

Slickdeals. US equivalent of DD. I meant the lid is made extremely thin for galaxy series causing the display to break easily.
Pros::
Premium build with tight hinges with some chrome accents. Blue color with black keyboard looks professional. Lightweight (1.1Kg).
High quality OLED touchscreen display but glossy.
Excellent packaging as someone who bought S22U in 2022

Windows 11 Home & Office 2021 H&S pre installed.
Top of the line 6400MHz 16gb RAM freq. PCIe® 4.0 M2.2280 SSD from Micron. Good sound quality for a room but not enough if you intend to play movies in a hall etc.
Didnt hear fan running (admittedly i dont do game/video edit), so YMMV.
Asus didnt cheap out on anything EXCEPT one

Its a premium device & once u use it you will also feel it.
Cons::
720p webcam. Should have been atleast 1080p or more given the price.
Spotify , McAfee antivirus etc bloatware which can be uninstalled.
Flipkart exchange process was smooth. Got exact 20.3k for my old laptop as initially shown.
With this my 6months research & wait comes to an end. Will add 3yrs ADP + warranty extension for 3k during weekend and I'm sorted for next 5yrs.

Maximum battery charging percentage can be limited, right?

In exchange what things delivery boy checked? I have one old i7 laptop but in that battery gone, works only on full time plug-in.
Finally ordered lg gram 16" from amazon @ 80990/- thanks everyone here for suggestions🙏🙏🙏

Old laptops battery was not good & only giving 20-30mins backup. Entire process took 10 mins time for him to check.
I think this is good time to replace old laptops as Flipkart is giving very good price to lure customers. You always have option to cancel before taking delivery if exchange price doesn't suit you.
Is LG gram 16 a good laptop to project on an external 4k screen, will it project with 2k resolution or 3k resolution as per the external screen.
How about MI laptop with 3k resolution.
My priority is using a big 4k screen for large documents
