I have the 29 inch ultra wide version of the same monitor (sells for 17-18k now) purchased in 2018. I was looking to upgrade to something larger. But really need a 4k monitor. Any recommendation?

Edit: It went for 17k on 8th November. Very juicy price that was.

Depending on your work. It is worth for me as I work in split screen.

I am thinking of getting a large 4K TV instead of monitor. They are cheaper with better panels compared to 4K Monitors. Refresh rate is not a concern for me as gaming is not on the menu.

I’m in the same boat. 4k TV is definitely more VFM and will be easier to resell when upgrading.
However, I’ve read some reviews regarding input lag in TVs. Not sure how much it will impact regular usage though

You are forgetting, the main differentiator between a monitor and TV (apart from Input lag)
i.e. Chroma Subsampling – Your ability to read text properly.

If it is just for content consumption, 4K TV would be preferred.

P.S. I own this specific model of the TV, if anyone has queries I would be able to answer them.

Yes. I am aware of that. I thought most newer TVs today came with 4:4:4.

Which TV you have?
